It is the second best hotel in the Houston Downtown area. The volume is relatively mini. But the Chinese are used to living in four- and five-star hotels in China, so this place is not good. It is a few steps away from Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase. Also, several Marriott hotel foyers in the area look very lowser. The next time I come to Houston, I will only stay at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Nice hotel and location. But 55 dollars a night for valet is a bit outrageous. The car only goes in a gate outside in the middle of the hotel. I didn’t think it was a high end valet.

My husband and I went for a short getaway. We have never stayed at The Lancaster so we thought we would give it a go. We are so glad we did!! Beautiful hotel very clean and the staff was amazing!! Front desk was very professional and always there to help. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!!

The hotel management team is top notch! We were able to check in early after a long day and night of traveling. The hotel has a home away from home feel. The location is excellent. The hotel restaurant is cozy, and elegant with great menu options for my family. We did not want to be in a large convention center hotel so the Lancaster suited our travel interests.

Awesome hotel with top-notch service! Alexis and Gary at the front desk were very quick in checking in all 14 of us, and one even got a free upgrade to a suite! We got a highly detailed explanation of the amenities available (free snacks in the room!) and a good recommendation of the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel (do try the pan-seared salmon!) Also highly appreciated the bubbles - which was a nice perk after a long day of travel :)

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with our experience at The Lancaster. The valet attendants and concierge were very kind and helpful. The meals and drinks at Cultivated were delicious. Loved the breakfast. Our stay exceeded expectations, with blackout curtains and an incredibly comfortable bed. After this experience, I doubt I'll choose another hotel in Houston for my future stays. :)
