Pool was closed. It should not have been listed as an amenity if it was closed as my daughter was quite disappointed. Room was comfortable enough, but I had a spider drop from the ceiling onto me so may need to call in pest control. The bath towels were also small and very co****, soaking up very little water. The shower head had an odd leak so that some water was spraying out an odd angle. A/C worked well, but the fridge did not chill well. I left some drinks in it overnight and they did not get very cold. Breakfast was ok--sausage, eggs, biscuits (no gravy. unfortunately). They also had some bagels and muffins, as well as milk and juice.

I travel a lot and the experience I had at the La Quinta by Wyndham at Medical area was the most terrifying experience. There were roaches everywhere in the hotel (lobby, guestroom). There were roaches in the bathtub while I was taking my shower. There were roaches at my bed side table. The hotel has a moldy smell. The carpet on all three floors were dirty, filthy, and smelly. There were molds on the ceiling in the bathroom. The elevator was very old and was not working properly. We got trapped and stuck for 15 minutes in the elevator. We called for help but no one came. My kids panic and cried. I don't know what to do to get my family out of the elevator. We waited inside the elevator for 15 minutes and the elevator started to move again. The lock to the bedroom always not working. We had to run downstairs each day to reset the keys. The pool was unavailable and the washing machines were not working. The window in the room was not sound proof. I was being woke up by the traffic noisy at 4am each day...:-(. I will never stay in La Quinta again and don't recommend any one to stay.

Very dated and dirty rooms. I understand the price was $50 less then the holiday inn a few blocks away but i still expect clean. The pool was "broken" and the entire place as very dark at night, very unsafe. It does not meet la quinta standards in my opinion.

Staff at front desk not empowered to help; 4 trips to front desk for check-in as key to room door didn't work; very few peole in hotel; appears to be getting close to closing; musty smell in room and air conditioners not cleaned reguarly

The rooms are dirty and the cleanest inside and outside is not good, the rats that we see the last week outside the hotel, at the night on Saturday, in the back street are runners with cars and a lot of noise, the pool is not open, but the sanity and clean service I could understand why is close.

the odor of room was nasty, like humidify, the walls and frame of exterior of room was dirty, with many dents, the carpet of room was extremely dirty. there are several motels better than this hotel. I won't back to this hotel

carpeting in room was so dirty that it made a black stain on my white socks after walking across the floor twice. Sink in bath did not have hot water turned on, no sink drain stopper in sink (probably because sink had bad crack in bottom of bowel. Cable TV and internet were not working well when it worked, and very limited access to channels

Needs a serious remodel you can only hide mold so much! The carpet needs to be replaced. Found needles by my car every morning. I just felt unsafe. I only stayed there because other family members couldn’t afford anything else.

I got a ground floor room which was quite spacious. This hotel suited my needs, though I stayed only one night. With unlimited different flavours of coffee, and a simple breakfast (post Covid). Check in/put 2as seamless and I left my luggage for same day evening pick up. All nice, all good.
