I made a reservation at the Baymont by Wyndham Houston North hotel, in Houston to enter on the 21st and leave on May 23, 2024, the reservation with entry on the 21st was made to ensure that upon arrival we would not need to wait until 3 pm to occupy the room, without warning the reservation was canceled by Exidia. At the service desk we were able to re-book another for US$50.00, we paid a refundable fee of US$60.00, we paid the fee of US$30.00 to advance entry into the room for a total payment of US$140.00. In the hotel lobby there were women, men and children having breakfast, even the usual. We went up to the room and in the hallway there was a lot of rubbish, filthy walls, the carpet was filthy, the bathroom floor was dripping with dirt, the room we occupied was untidy and dirty. Families and individuals who appear to be in need live at the hotel. We decided that we would not stay at this hotel due to the lack of security due to the high flow of people in the hallway looking into the room when the door was open or watching us pass through the hallway. We requested a refund of US$50.00 for our payment for the room, we did not ask for the US$30.00 in advance of entry, we understood that the advance fee was valid to pay because after all we entered the room. The request for a total or partial refund was not accepted by reception, which only returned the deposit of US$60.00, which would be the same refund. Unfortunately, we participated in a cheap horror film, cheap in the sense of production because the cost for me was expensive. The hotel became a tenement house
