Big hotel with a great facilities, just that when I request for extra blankets need to pay extra, since is winter time in Taiwan would appreciate if can get it for free.

The service staff guided us very attentively~~but it was because it was an RV! The parking space is outdoors and cannot be shaded! It is not convenient to carry luggage. It would be better if the parking aspect can be improved in the future. In the evening, we went to the famous Dongmen Market to eat delicious food. It was amazing! Such great seafood! The area near the hotel is also very lively!

The service staff is friendly and the room is very big. We originally ordered a double bed and an extra bed, and we were upgraded to a room with two double beds. Unfortunately, one of the lights in the room was broken, but it didn't affect the comfort!

A time honoured hotel got a new “face” by cultural creative designing. The rooms and the parking lot still express their old ages but good maintenance shall be credited. It seems there are many exchanging staff from abroad, which is good for providing international services. The location is perfect, just right nearby the city hall. Even though the restaurants around this area are plenty, the ones inside Howard are good enough and the cafe on 1st floor is suitable for a family with kids.

Positives: - centrally located (with a huge shopping mall just around the corner) - fantastic breakfast in terms of quality and quantity as well as the provision of local hsinchu food - amenities like free washing machine/dryer, sauna, free snacks and drinks were very much welcomed - eco friendly hotel (bathroom amenities like tooth brush/paste only provided upon request) - Room clean and functional - separate shower and bath tub - international electrical socket Negatives - bath towels could be thicker - lack of face towel - no hair conditioner - my room had no view (view of shopping centre carpark)

You can get coupons at the counter and park for free. What's a pity is that I didn't open the drawer until I checked out, and saw that there were many types of pillows to choose from. This is a hotel that pays great attention to every detail.

The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the temple entrance, so you don't have to worry about parking. There are many food and beverage shops nearby. The buffet breakfast in the hotel is delicious. You can't hear the conversation or the sound of water in the next room, which is better than many hotels. You can also take a bath, and the water is discharged quickly, which is great! ! But the disadvantage is that you can hear the sound of cars passing by outside at night, so you can barely sleep all night. You also need to go to a nearby public parking lot for accommodation. Although the hotel pays with receipts, the parking lot is full on holidays. You need to find roadside parking or public parking by yourself. When you find it, it is already far away from the hotel. It takes a long way to walk. My husband is getting angry and has ruined the elegant mood of going out for fun. But I found that many hotels in Hsinchu have to park in the parking lot outside the hotel. This really causes inconvenience to tourists, so we probably won’t plan a trip to Hsinchu anymore.
