Hotels in Guangfu Sugar Factory, Hualien

The room is big, new and clean. Mrs. Tian is very kind. The surrounding environment is very quiet, with only the chirping of birds in the morning. The bed was great, and the water pressure and temperature in the bathroom were great. Will stay again next time if necessary.

Children's facilities are divided into categories, allowing children to choose what they like to play. There are parent-child toilets and wash basins outside in the game room. There are many types of meals, fresh and delicious! 👍, but I hope it will be more hygienic to restrict everyone to wearing masks when picking up meals. The waiters are also very good!

In my opinion, Parkview Hotel is one of the nicest hotel for families in Hualien. The deluxe family room we booked has 2 queen beds and very spacious. The breakfast buffet is nice, with a good collection of traditional ********* congee breakfast and international selection such as omelette station, salad, etc. There is a dedicated indoor haven for children with all sorts of games from go cart, different kinds of video games, etc. There's indoor pool, gym, pool table, etc for adults. There's also a coin operated laundry machine and dryer.

Very clean, shower and toilet inside and outside the room. Bed are big enough and comfortable. Breakfast is provided! Toast, ham, cheese and various spreads. The crowd is very different from any hostel I stayed before, many middle age people and even kids!! So might not be the perfect place for you if you want to make friends. Everyone I talked to, from the staff to the guest was extremely nice! At the reception you can get information to visit the taroko gorge.

During the summer vacation, I took my family to Hualien to play and stayed at Tongmao Resort. I felt pretty good. I heard that the decoration was finished, so the room looked new, there were some small activities of bingo DIY, and there was also a starry sky cinema. It's just because it's far from the city, so it's more inconvenient to go out without driving.

We ordered the pet plan. It is recommended that you can bring your pet into the restaurant or lakeside bar (pets can use a cart to enter). Otherwise, the accommodation fee will be expensive, but you will not be able to enjoy the hotel facilities. There are also pet meal suggestions. The previous Pengpai lunch boxes can be provided, and you can bring your own pet cooking kits⋯ I don’t think there is anything particularly pet-friendly.

1. When booking on Ctrip, I deliberately chose a deluxe suite that was more expensive than an ordinary sea view room, but was told at the front desk that it was not a sea view room. Surprised, I looked carefully and found that there was a ”Deluxe Ocean View Suite” at the bottom of the page that was automatically hidden. All in all, the name ”Qinhai Pavilion”, the order of room types recommended by Ctrip, and the similarity between the large blue sky and the sea in the sample pictures are easily misleading. It is hoped that hotels and platforms will add a ”non-sea view” label, and travelers should pay more attention to the details in the promotion. 2. The hotel pursues an environmental protection policy, so towels and slippers are naturally not satisfactory. Other hardware is relatively new, there is no bottled water but there is a minibar (the specialty lemonade and tea are good). The breakfast is rich and has certain characteristics, but the space is a bit cramped when there are many people 3. Although it is only a small point, I still want to mention it: the hotel does not have a concierge service to deliver luggage to the room. As a newly opened hotel, this one is not as humane as many old hotels in Kaohsiung, Taipei. Of course, travelers can carry their luggage for a long journey, but being able to easily walk into the room empty-handed is a comfort during the journey.

Breathtaking views of the Pacific from every room and commanding view of Hualien from the lobby. The newly renovated lobby is stunning - we didn’t believe the lobby photos until we actually saw it in person. This resort is a real gem of Hualien and of ********* fengshui in general. The food quality was unexpectedly good, and I prefer the hotel’s twist on simple ********* favorites vs. their western style food. The only annoying thing is that you have to buy a swimming cap to use the pool, but the kids had a blast at the pool and taking in views from the hot tub.

Location- near to Hualien station about 5-8mins walk. U won’t miss the hotel as it is painted a bright yellow. You can spot it from far! Food- Complimentary ice cream, coffee and juices are avail 24hrs. Snacks - crackers, tea jelly are avail from 3-8pm. Breakfast and supper are complimentary. Now this is really unexpected. Breakfast consists of meat, vegs, eggs. Chinese, western and veg options. Supper is lighter eg porridge rice curry potato and eggs vegs. Cocktail is avail and yes, complimentary too. Also fruits. Service- I was at first skeptical. To name a Hotel kindness will imply the hotel embraces the kindness value. True to its name, staff are polite and kind and goes out to help guests. U don’t need a password to log into wifi, I haven’t been to a hotel with complimentary breakfast and supper. I was suprised that the hotel is painted bright yellow and I realise it helps guests to locate the hotel as all other buildings are all grey and black and the yellow really lights up the area. I find it a thoughtful gesture. Room- Room is big. They gave me two queen size bed for three pax. There is also a bathtub. Amenities are provided. Oh yes, complimentary laundry service with washing powder provider. Now isn’t this thoughtful and kind and really take care of the guests esp those traveling with kids. Water refill is available at each floor next to the lift. Would definitely stay in the hotel if I go to Hualien again and yes, would love to stay in kindness hotel in different parts of Taipei too! I think it’s good because it’s clean and fun. There are many recreational facilities and are suitable for family travel. When I signed up for the hotel's local itinerary, the tour guide explained it in detail. This allows us to have an in-depth understanding of the human, historical and geographical environment of local attractions, Rather than just looking at things.
