We had a very good stay at the Fantasy Apartment, overall! First and foremost, I want to thank the host, who was super helpful and informative! The room layout is a bit out of the ordinary, but the place was clean and comfortable. The tub was a bit wobbly upon entering/exiting it, so I'd suggest fixing it to the floor better, but the water temperature and pressure were fantastic. Pros: friendly host (but make sure you have a Translation app if you don't speak Chinese), near Hualien Station, 24hour laundromat nearby, places to eat nearby, and places to rent bikes. Cons: wobbly bath, and floor-to-ceiling window (however there are curtains).

The location of the homestay is convenient, and there are convenience stores at the entrance of the alley outside! There is also a lovely cafe nearby with famous curry rice and you can reach it without driving! This time I stayed in the double room on the 4th floor, I was surprised to see the sea!
