Resort Hotels in Huangshan

This is a very large hotel with lots of rooms and floors. The rooms are big, comfortable beds and great furniture. Staff tried really hard although some didn't speak much English, the concierge was great and arranged transport for us. The pool is big but lots of children! The buffet breakfast was great but the dinner not worth it. Only local beer available.

The hotel had a great location close to some of the most famous peaks. We stayed for a night to be able to see the sunset and sunrise and all was arranged in order to allow it in the most comfortable and convenient way, from tours planned to down jackets in the room free for use. We were upgraded during check-in for a better room and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. On top of that we also found a voucher for the spa in the room ☺️

This hotel is well located to bright summit peak and turtle peak, ideal for watching sunset and sunrise. They recommended that we watched sunrise from bright summit peak, and therefore, we should go to turtle peak for sunset, and we were very lucky to witness both! We booked a triple room. The room was a good size, although the bathroom was on the smaller end. The only downside was the room was quite cold, despite the radiator being on full power. There were extra blankets in the room for that purpose. The service was otherwise impeccable: we were given ginger tea on arrival, we were shown to our room (albeit it was outside the main block), the hotel supplied down jackets and torches for sunrise the next morning. They called us to inform us that there were a lot of visitors on the summit, and to leave earlier the next morning for sunrise to get a good spot. We were also given snacks, fruit and a free coffee the next morning for our descent. Breakfast was a buffet and there was a good variety of food.

We had a wonderful time at Yupinglou Hotel. It is a very beautiful hotel. We enjoyed everything about our stay there. The hotel rooms are really beautiful and also very clean. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and the service is excellent. We want to thank the staff very much for their great hospitality. They also gave us a lot of recommendations about hiking routes on the mountain, which is really helpful. We will never forget the wonderful time we had at Yupinglou hotel. If we will visit Huangshan again in the future, we will definitely choose Yupinglou Hotel again.

NIce new hotel .. very posh .. name changed to cloud fun .. just few minutes away from xihai gorge. Staff Xiang Jian Fan was updating us the sunrise/sunset schedule and location to watch them. It is really amazing to have such nice hotel at the peak. Everything is carried up by hand .. including the bedsheet we slept on. I saw the guys carrying them up and down hill.

The boss and his wife were very nice. They picked us up and dropped us all the way up and down the mountain. The food they cooked was very delicious, including the chicken soup and the smelly mandarin fish. When we came back from the mountain, the children played in the hot spring for an hour. They were very happy. The mirror in the room was like a It would be nice to have one more person outside, so you don't have to be next to each other to wipe your face and wash your hands. I was so tired when I came back from the mountain that I forgot to take pictures.

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

No wonder it’s so cheap on National Day, with a reduced standard of five stars. I live in Building 5, which is a large B&B. This is the first time I have encountered a five-star hotel that does not provide centralized hot water supply, but uses electric water heaters. Better B&Bs do more than this, let alone Hanting Home Inn 😂😂 So it was normal for the bathtub to be unavailable. The quilt is a fiber quilt, and the towels and bath towels are very modern and are standard equipment. As for hair dryers, electric kettles, etc., just have the main one. The carpet in the room, the oversized faucet, the oversized bathroom, and the traces of the five-star hotel back then. The breakfast is also downgraded. It's not as good as a better four-star hotel, so don't expect too much.

We loved our stay at Huanghan Lotus. The staff are all very friendly and sweet, and communicative through chat apps even though we do not speak Mandarin. They helped us plan our route up and around the mountain, arranged a taxi for our return, and let us leave our bags here while we travelled up the mountain for a night. When we returned to pick up our bags, we decided to get a massage at the spa and they gave us both half an hour extra. About the room — we were upgraded and the room is gorgeous, beautiful wood and a very comfortable bed and shower etc. The hot spring is also very comfortable, the perfect way to unwind. We will definitely choose this hotel the next time we visit. Highly recommend!

Excellent mountain top hotel in Huangshan range, about 20 min hike from the top of yungu cable car. Our rate included dinner, breakfast and cable car tickets; recommended as there are not so many places to buy food. Of the mountaintop places we tried this one had the best food. Which is all the more impressive as food is carried up by foot on the backs of porters (who you'll see on the trails). Props to Ms. Xiao Jiang for her friendly service and taking care of us!
