Hotel Ayodhya

We stayed in ayodhya hotel for 2 days from 23 april 2024. This is our favorite lodge with excellent facilities. They have restaurant where you get good food at reasonable rates. The only drawback is that, you cannot book non-ac rooms online. We shifted from ac room to non-ac room next day.

On a positive side, the room is really clean and well maintained. Also the unit has parking facility for the guests (though not covered parking. But what i really didn't like are two points: 1. Bathroom towels not changed unless asked for. 2. Hot water service at bathroom starts only at 6 am. When you need to check out early, you need to have cold showers. 3. Similar to point 2, the restaurant service starts at 7:30 am which may not suit when checking out. However, since there are other restaurants on the way to bengaluru (very close to hubli in 15 km is kamat restaurant, this may not be a great disadvantage to travelers. 4. Didn't know that they provide newspapers as complementary till the date of check out. Not sure why they didn't provide to the room instead of telling us during checkout when asked about it. For this you need to recheck whether it is worth the price. I felt it a bit costly; but i have also read review about other cheaper hotels where majorly people have complained about cleanliness. At least, on cleanliness angle, this is lodge is good.

During checkin, the staff denied there was any booking made thru make my trip and said there are no rooms left. After having a verbal dispute they allotted us rooms. Had a bad experience booking through mmt

Very good hotel, all staff members were good. Location also good. Room was awesome, and food was delicious too

This is famous hotel in hubli. The hotel is neat and clean. Staff are cooperative.

Good room facilities and services but bathroom flush is not good please maintain that one. Overall good

Room was at all not clean. At this price it was expensive

Good and hygeinic rooms, at center of the city, have their own restaurant which has really good and tasty food.

Location is in middle of city center. Quite old hotel but aroma is nice to have a feel good factor unlike the stinking smell in other low cost hotels. Food is not so ok. Parking have sufficient space. Could be an option if it’s a halt. Saw too many youngsters seems local boys sitting at corridors space at random places inside the property might be working as restaurant staffs but not having proper attire’s so safety could also be an issue.
