Huddersfield Central

The hotel itself is in a perfect location for the city centre. it is a lovely building/s with marvellous views onto the canal. The food was superb with excellent service. If you want fun meal, go for breakfast where Eileen and her team will definitely keep you entertained whilst you eat a very well cooked breakfast. Cant recommend this one highly enough.

The reception staff were fabulous and incredibly welcoming, room was expected however was unbelievably hot and the air con didn’t appear to be working. The curtains were broken and had holes in them which leaked light and the noise from people coming & going through the main door was infuriating. Comfy bed but hardly slept, a different room away from the main reception door might have made all the difference.

Central location close to venue was main reason for choosing this hotel. Was clean, comfortable and had everything that was required. Walking distance to centre of town with a big pub/restaurant on site.

I would like to take the opportunity to Thank a very good lady whom serves the food in breakfast area. Her name I believe is phylamina (Phyl) she was exceptionally good and provided an excellent service plus has a perfect personality (funny). I would advise that she is an asset to the business and a special Thankyou to her. I hope she receive the recognition she deserves. Regards Imraz Khan

We chose this hotel as it is just off of the Town Centre but located next too a canal. You can actually see the canal boats outside of the room. We always book the breakfast at Premier Inn as this sets us up for the day. We had a corner room, just a short walk away from reception and parking was immediately outside and free for guests.

The Premier Inn in Huddersfield met our expectations for a clean, tidy and well-priced place to stay the night as a family of four. We had a double and the kids had a single bed each. Bathroom was clean and tidy.

On arrival we was 40 minutes early, although the room was ready the charge £10 to gain early access, so that 40 + minted were spent in the pub where the £10 was well spent. On getting access we found the bed in the middle of the room so asked reception of the room was ready and was told just to push the bed back ourselves. We stayed in room 1 so you could hear the door to reception all night, also we could hear the people walking in the room above. The shower room main light and room lamp bulbs not working. We have stayed here before with no issues but feel the hotel is starting to look tired.

The staff helped out soo much they informed me on where was best to visit in Huddersfield and even gave me directions this hotel has a free car park and a lovely restaurant,I would visit again soon they have lovely management who showed me to my room and made sure I had everything I needed. I would recommend.

Untrustworthy thieving staff. I stay last weekend, when I checked out stupidly I left my new iPhone 15 charger in the room. I realised a couple of hours later and called the hotel to collect it. To be told nothing had been handed in. The cleaner had been in and decided to take this charger for themselves rather than putting it in lost property. So now you can stay anywhere without even the staff stealing your belongings. Hotel just said it’s not been handed in and not a lot they can do. Clearly they could see who cleaned the room and investigate as it’s just theft. Bet if the cleaner stole £40 from the till it would be investigated
