The hotel has its own parking, but I don't know its price because when we arrived it was complete. There is a public parking nearby that costs about €20 per day.

We were delighted with our room, but Senator Huelva had a sign in reception saying that breakfast was 8am to 11am. We were on a relaxing holiday so late breakfast was our preference. Arriving at say: 10:10 meant surly staff were clearing away as we tried to serve ourselves to the buffet and were impatient or unco-operative about any requests, for example, for a plate when they had run out. Then reception changed to sign to say breakfast was finishing at 10:30. This meant that from 10am the same carry-on started earlier and the doors closed at 10:30 on the dot. Staff, except for the cleaners, who were lovely people, were unfriendly and distant. Maybe the are paid badly or under stress, but we were there for a week and did not get a friendly word from anyone. WARNING do not use the carpark unless you are a very experienced driver. We arrived at 1am in a rental car from Faro and were put under pressure to pay for a week's parking. I resisted, thankfully, and we used it that night. We had a most stressful experience trying to find parking in a low, narrow, crowded carpark. We spent a lot of the next morning worrying about getting the car out again, especially as it was a rented car and any little scratch would be costly. To make things worse, as my partner was making the third attempt to manoeuver around the bend to exit, the hotel-controlled metal shutter began to descend. We narrowly avoided disaster by driving out quickly but I cannot imagine what would have happened if there had been pedestrians or we had stalled. There is a big, roomy and for-the-same-price carpark just further down the street beside the restaurants.

If you travel by train the NH Luz Huelva is the best choice as it is just 4 or five minutes away from the station. Once you arrive you are greeted by very freindly staff in uniforms who offer a warm welcome.Rooms and most public areas very clean. Rooms big enough to feel good.

We went after seeing a Black Friday offer of 117 euros in a deluxe room including breakfast and dinner. We already us ether Spa as we live locally and chose a night in the hotel as a break from cooking and to use the Spa. I loved the sauna and ice pool and my wife the infrared pod etc. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed and a nice Tera e to sit out on and enjoy the winter sunshine. The food was the problem though. We where told dinner was included however when we got there we where not in the dining room which is just to the side of the reception which we looked at while making the reservation and looking forward to sitting in there and being served a meal. Instead it was a self service buffet. The tiniest little dried por chops and some half chicken wings with rice or some cod (basque style) which my wife tried. It was very acidic and tasted like fried tomatoes (tomate frito) straight out of tin. There was some pre cooked spaghetti delightfully drying away under the heat lamps and again that red tomato sauce, some frozen chips and cheap croquettes brought miserably to life with fried only to sit there going dry. At no point in making the booking did any mention this type of food. We eat in the local village a menu of the day including wine or beer for 11 euros which is infinitely bette than the shockingly poor food they served. Breakfast was actually ok with fruit and the usual fried eggs and bacon, bread and baby croissants. Needless to say we went to pavarotties a local Italian restaurant for dinner as did another party of four who took one look at the buffet and didn’t even try it. Staff whee great in the hotel and friendly enough but the food !! Nos hemos sentado un poco engañado !!

We had a 7 day vacation at the golf resort. We were recognised as gold member and received an upgrade to a ‘villa’. It was nice for the four of us my daughter and boyfriend stayed in the main building. In the villa there was no storage in the bedroom and a bathtub on the second floor with a shower, I would update this to a walk in shower there is plenty of space. Breakfast, dinner and 5 rounds of golf were in our package which was great. A bit more different themes during the week for diner are welcome but overall good. You can rent a buggy for 5 days with a package price of €160. We played padel 5 times which was a nice addition activity. Renting a court and rackets is €27,00 for 90 minutes. The golf course is challenging and with 27 holes has a lot of variety. Greens are really well maintained. There is a little train to the beach club that is a nice activity for a day or two. Plenty of fresh fish restaurants.

I visited this place for 10 nights and was very disappointed. Do not go here if you have no kids or want peace. Good things: Staff are fantastic. Friendly hard working and even though most had no English we managed to communicate. All inclusive drinks good. Included bottles of wine, pints of beer and a glass of champagne. Good choice for lunch and breakfast but only had dinner there one time as we couldn’t hear ourselves speak, Breakfast has freshly squeezed Orange juice which was fab Beds comfortable Get beach towels with a €10 deposit Near beach Bad things This is a massive complex. Even a staff member described it as a zoo The buffet holds over 1300 people and has three settings for each meal Thousands of people constantly on the move Queues for bar queues for buffet queues for lifts queues to walk up and down the stairs Noise noise and more noise “entertainment” included two 3 foot speakers blaring out dreadful music with dreadful “entertainment” staff screaming out announcements over a microphone €12 a night for parking. Outrageous cost. No free parking on streets it’s all meters so they have a captive audience €3 a night for safe Not much choice of restaurants as most restaurants are part of all inclusive complexes

The hotel is located in a recidential area of Huelva. There is a Carrefour supermarket about five minuters drive from the hotel. We had a nice, clearing room of good size on the top floor. Breakfast was good and the staff nice. We had no problem finding an outdoor parking space free of charge and if you prefer parking indoors , the hotel has its own garage.

RRobertI wish I could give 6 Stars, this place was absolutely perfect. We stopped for one night arriving late they kept the lights on and waited for us! Breakfast was also amazing, eggs to order with fresh bacon and all of the other normal menu items. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!!!

Nnsander219Interesting reading some of the comments. First – Car Parking. With some preparation which you surely must do coming to a small town like Aracena we knew exactly where the car park was. A good SatNav (not Google Maps on a phone) and a quick glance at Google Earth before you start shows exactly where the car park is (at the rear). Admittedly we stopped at the front to ask them to let us in when we got around. We found any staff we came across very helpful (I forget the lady’s name on Reception). We have no quibbles about the food either for breakfast or in the restaurant. We saw very few people staying here on our one night. The room was comfortable with a good shower. Toiletries were good quality. The room we had was to the rear and overlooked the pool area and the hills beyond. The bed was comfortable and large. Everything was very clean. No complaints. I would note that this hotel is high up in the town so any visits require a little stamina and of course the Castle is even higher up (do very early). We stayed here to visit the Caves in the morning (10.30 descend) and the hotel allowed us to remain parked in the garage until we returned (they even opened the bar for us to get cold drinks on our return near 12 noon. The conversion from Convent to Hotel has allowed some interesting construction/opening up – eg the Reception/Bar/Lounge Area. Quite impressive.

GGuest UserWe stayed two nights in august and enjoyed every minute. Hotel is in a beautiful restored traditional hacienda. Reminded us of estancias in Argentina. Very old world. Staff polite and helpful with good English. Room clean,beautiful decor, comfy bed. Great pool area on roof top with views of Doñana park and wild horses grazing. Only four deck chairs so fills up quickly. There’s a bell to ring for drinks service by the pool. We had sun downers there with great sunsets. Good breakfast but very overpriced at 16 eur per person. Bread, fruit, ham, cheese and cakes (no eggs or youghurt) plus very good coffee from espresso machine but still not worth 16 euro. Had dinner in their restaurant on first night. Pricy but worth it. We ate outside on their terrace with horses riding by on their evening excercises. We loved the hotel and the very special village of El Rocio. Thank you.

MMark FWhat a great place! Had a kind of seventies vibe to it, with unbeatable views and location - a real top of the world feeling. Junior suite was huge and really well equipped. Pool was laid out so as not to be on top of each other and over crowded. Bar/cafe served great snacks with lovely friendly staff. A really chilled stay.

To return! Hotel pet friendly very advisable! We stayed last week of July with our dog. At our arrival Maria José made the check-in with friendlyness, offering us information about the area. The next few days we are in the reception of Teresa, which I would like to mention especially, as she tried us with 10, very nice with our dog. He advised us about the nearby canine beaches, informed us about restaurants for food, as well as information about the facilities of the establishment. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The bar music next to the nearby rooms can bother, as well as put some support for needs in the bathroom.
