We spent two nights at Sheraton Huizhou Beach. We had a good time, and enjoyed a splendid summer weather. There are 5 pools at the hotel, plus some outdoor thermal baths. We enjoyed swimming in all of them. The big beach is NOT clean, and although it seems that this is not responsibility of the hotel, I think that they should invest in cleaning it at least once every few weeks, as the accumulated garbage (toys, plastics, nets, shoes, etc.) makes the experience of walking on it a bit disappointing and not so enjoyable. Besides that, even if the hotel itself is a bit worn out, it is still acceptable, quiet at night and clean. All the staff was very helpful, serviceable, very efficient and gave us excellent attention, specially Cassie at the front desk. The breakfast buffet is good, very complete. Overall, I loved the experience, and since the price is reasonable, I will surely come back to spend a few more days of relaxing rest here, I recommend it remarkably during Low-Season. Congratulations to all the Sheraton staff!

The worst Sheraton property I’ve ever visited. It’s like a 3 star business hotel tbh. This place is a joke. About half of the area between the main building and the ocean is abandoned. Several pools are empty and growing algae. The Wifi in the room didn’t work for a whole day. The seaside BBQ was garbage. The bell boy had no idea what he was doing. Breakfast doesn’t start til 7:30. From the lobby the main view is of an industrial facility across the bay. Everything is in disrepair. The AC works, some pools are serviceable, and there are some friendly staff but over all this place needs to be overhauled or shut down.

It’s the second time in this hotel. It’s definitely not new but still ok. I’d chosen it for the second time because of the service and nice territory. There are lots of things to do even when it’s not the hot season. The beaches are quite clean as well as the sea. We stayed there during May holidays and as I know all the rooms were booked but we didn’t feel that there were lots of people, not noisy at all.

Room was ok but too old, a little smell of mold, facing the sea Kids pool good size, but noisy with loud music playing, adults pool just nothing impressive, not enough sunbeds, for two pools only about 7 chairs There was a wedding starts late in the evening till about 11:30 at night, lots of noise and fireworks . The beach is clean, sea is clean enough. No restaurants in a walking distance, so we drove , all food is same everywhere, no western food accept the hotel .

Very surprised about my experience considering this is Sheraton hotel. The location is in a distant area of the city of Huizhou but very quiet. There’s a decent number of things to do but all of very average or poor quality. It was a prime holiday time and everything advertised was either closed or I’m told in the case of the Spa, it had been closed for several years, even though signs were still posted about there being a spa. The beach was small rocky and quite frankly littered with large shipping containers in the distance and a large powerplant which ruined the view during sunset. The breakfast was bland and the evening dinner buffets were stopped. My partner and I decided to instead order takeout as the quality and price were not worth it. Staff were very kind and helped when possible, service is a mixed bag as one individual gave me a sloppy bag of water when I called for some. Others amenities were even offered: I needed a taxi to take me to the train station but I’m told there were no drivers at the hotel. Overall I will not be returning. Quite frankly I don’t see myself returning to Sheraton as this isn’t my first time having a poor stay with them.

Reception was very helpful and the service was very nice, they helped a lot. Breakfast was adequate and their are restaurants nearby the hotel with good reasonable deals because eating on the resort would be costly. Very clean rooms with strong air conditioners However the hallways of the hotel look a little outdated and could do with a little more modernizing, If you don’t have your own car then transportation wise getting here maybe a little tough, from the bus or the train station is far away.

After a stressful week we are so happy to be here this place is so perfect to unwind and breathe a little. We enjoyed the private beach we had moment to have some quality time and also the pool. 3 pools are working so it wasnt crowded. It was so perfect for us as couple because the place was so intimate quite and peaceful. There just 1 concern, about the service most of the staff doesnt speak english so it was hard for us to order anything ( this is just for foreiners) but understandable . We still want to go back 😍🥰❤️

(background: European but communicate fluently with staff in Chinese) The Sheraton welcomed us with a light-flooded lobby in traditional Asian architecture. A warm and relaxing impression. Location: The Sheraton is located between Xunliaowan (10min) and Shuangyuewan (30min), the two major tourist places on the peninsula. The hotel is located remotely, meaning no restaurants or supermarkets are close or outside the entrance. It shares the beach only with the Regal Resort, which is 1km down the beach. Therefore, its quiet and perfect for weekend-getaway from the busy city life. Facilities: The hotel offers 3-4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool, some remain closed/not in-use (hard to tell). Food: The hotel has a lobby bar which offers drinks and small snacks. We ordered a coffee there to be served at the pool, which was challenging and took some effort, but finally possible. (Chinese speaker) The breakfast restaurant is located on groundfloor serving up to 10:30am. Apart from common Chinese dishes, I am interested in the continental food variety, here the hotel was offering very soft "french style" baguette, 3 different types of cheese, and smoked duck breast as cold cut. Also, the hotel offered fresh salad buffet with a good variety including olives. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect fresh orange/fruit juice, which I could not find. The hotel offers a BBQ restaurant/bar at the waterfront, so we tried Shaokao around 7pm. we chose a 298Y package for 2ppl. The food quality was very poor and we had to return all sausages and ask 4 dishes to be put back on the BBQ. Any street BBQ tastes way better. First we were told all drinks are included, later a can of beer cost CNY40, So we had to pay additional CNY120. Disappointing experience for a 5 star hotel. Service: Concierge welcomed our taxi and opened the door, but did not offered any help for our luggage. Check-In took almost 20minutes (excluding waiting time) which is long for a 5 star hotel. We were told to go to the room, however, there wasn't clear signage where to find the right elevator to our room. Being at the pool, we tried to order drinks, as the hotel lobby is 10min away. It seems this customer wish is new to the hotel and we had to beg the hotel staff to find a solution for us. For a 5star hotel, I do expect being able to order/buy drinks/water at the pool area. The sunbeds at the pool needed cushions which are quite heavy and were located in a hidden area. (Hard to find for guests, so most guest just used their room towels on the hard benches). I would have wish that there is staff guiding/helping on that task. The F&B staff seems not well trained and supervised. Unfinished drinks have been thrown on the ground in the outdoor areas, food waste has been put in little plastic bags and clients tissues were used to clean tables and get them ready for next customers. We had to ask staff proactively to clean our table of used plates and bowls.

The location is amazing! It was a satisfactory stay, however the hotel is a little old and more maintenance is required. The smell is from a closed place, as humidity. The 1st room that we arrived had some bugs, so the cleaness / care was not good enough. based on that they changed our room. The service is good, supportive. The breakfast is great!

The sea is clean and fresh. Service is amazing, as 5stars! Just rooms already a bit old, but it wasn’t important for us. Big territory, gardens, 3 or 4 swimming pools, tasty food. Quit area, not too many ppl, private beach. We enjoy too much.
