"Absolutely amazing! Especially the suites. I originally booked a regular room, but after seeing the grand suite, I immediately upgraded. It's the perfect choice for a romantic getaway! The view is incredibly stunning; you can see both the sky and the sea at a glance, truly beautiful. The AC and heating are both very responsive and kick in right away. The front desk staff were also incredibly attentive. A perfect experience – definitely worth the trip!"

"Admittedly, Phoenix Hotel is an older establishment, and its maintenance hasn't been up to par. The room had a strong musty smell; it took half an hour with the door open for it to dissipate somewhat. The towels and bathrobes in the bathroom were very old, even shedding lint! Our room was on a higher floor, and the water pressure was simply insufficient; the showerhead barely trickled, which was frustrating. The beach downstairs from the hotel seems to be outsourced to another vendor, as there were fireworks being set off at 2 AM. Those who prioritize a good night's sleep should seriously consider this before booking! It's clear the management team is trying hard to compensate for the硬件 deficiencies with their service. We received mooncakes upon check-in, got a free room upgrade, and the staff were very enthusiastic! The most commendable aspect is the hotel's location, which I personally find even better than Le Meridien's, offering superb sea views!"

"The location is right in Honghaiwan Phase 2, and the bus from Guangzhou goes directly to the entrance. Nearby attractions are also within easy reach, which is super convenient. The off-season price was very reasonable, and the service was warm and attentive – there was no compromise in quality just because the price was lower. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a balcony offering sea views, sunrise and sunset, and even fireworks on the beach at night. The value for money is exceptional; I've already recommended it to my friends."

"This hotel has a wonderful view of the sea and the rocky reef bar. Can take many beautiful photos here with the helix like bridge hanging over the reef, and the spiral shape chapel. Buffet breakfast has many choices of food. Lobby staff Ada is so pleasant and helpful. The rooms we booked were for level 4 to 5, but she upgraded us to level 29 rooms after hearing that we had brought our 88 yo mum for holiday. She added us on WeChat and sent us information on the hotel activities. When I told her we want to buy the hotel rubber slippers, she arranged for them to be sent to the room. The only bad points are: 1) irresponsible pet owners who didn't leash their pets (my girl was scared by a dog that chased her in rounds), 2) the beach sand is quite rough and full of pebbles."

"During the summer vacation, I brought my family of five (including elderly and young children) to Double Moon Bay for a beach getaway and stayed at the Peninsula Hotel. It totally exceeded my expectations!! **Facilities:** As a fairly new hotel, I was surprised by how comprehensive their facilities are! The ground floor lobby has a shared refrigerator, a nursing room, and accessible restrooms. On the 3rd floor, you'll find a card/game room, a gym, a kids' play area, and even retro arcade games. The 4th floor features a light meal restaurant, an infinity pool, and a separate children's pool. **Cleanliness:** We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a living room this time. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was spotless. Extremely satisfied! **Environment/Location:** The hotel is located directly across the street from the beach. It's just a short walk across the road to get to the sand. Since it's a public beach, it wasn't perfectly pristine and had some litter, but we could always find a clean spot to play and dig in the sand. The only nuisance was the constant stream of motorcycles selling roasted chicken, which was quite annoying as we were constantly exposed to gasoline fumes! **Service:** While this isn't a luxury hotel, the service was truly excellent. The staff were very accommodating, attending to all our requests promptly and efficiently. Highly commendable! The only minor inconvenience was the hotel's somewhat remote location. On our way back, the roads were narrow and congested, and we were stuck in traffic for over two hours before finally reaching the highway. However, it's precisely this remoteness that kept the crowds away, allowing us to have a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable time! If I get the chance, I'd love to come back and stay for a full week!!!"

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering kid-friendly amenities and thoughtful touches like beach toys and floaties.The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a cozy yet luxurious vibe. Waking up to the sound of waves and soaking in our private outdoor tub was pure bliss. The on-site restaurant served delicious, fresh meals with plenty of options for both adults and little ones.What really stood out was the hotel's attention to detail—child-safe pools, fun activities like seashell hunting, and even a mini dining area for kids! We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next trip. Highly recommend for families looking for relaxation and fun by the sea!"

"It is owned by Wyndham, and the online reviews are not as bad as they seem. There are many parking spaces and rooms, and the hotel is clean. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned, but the facilities are quite normal, at least better than the Vienna Hotel next door. The breakfast is not very good, and the towels and toiletries are relatively old. I think everything else is pretty good, probably because I didn't check the reviews."

"Got a room upgrade to premier after a miscommunication. The beach view was wonderful from the hotel room, and the room is spacious and in summary very good. Tv has ready access to iqiyi if there is nothing to do. Thumbs up to the hotel staff, Judy during the short trip for her assistance. Too bad I made a poor choice of not renewing for another night. The cons are probably (1) the breakfast, which is just too pack with all the guests from the hotel. Food is decent though. (2) The firework sound at night as it goes on long into the night."

"We stayed in room 701, and it was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. My husband and I were on vacation, and staying in such a lovely room really put us in a great mood. The hygiene was impeccable. The butler service was excellent; they created a group chat as soon as we checked in, and any questions we had were answered immediately. I asked the butler about surfing and travel photography, and they recommended some really professional people. We'll definitely be back next year and will recommend this place to our friends. The breakfast was delicious, and there was also complimentary afternoon tea."
