This hotel has everything you could want, easily could spend over 2 weeks here and not get bored. The weather in May was perfect 30'c or slightly over each day, with the evenings cooler no jackets needed. The food was great, so much to choose from with also 5 free a la carte restaurants which you can visit unlimitedly. 'Snack bars for lunch time, is outside shaded (no aircon) where you can get all sorts - pizzas, fajitas, burgers, pasta dishes all to order. We stayed in a junior suite with sea view, our balcony looked out over the hotels private bay beach! The staff were all so friendly, tips were greatly appreciated, but not necessarily. The hotel grounds are quite large with multiple pools, private bay beach, pier to the left and pier to the right through the sister hotel. The main pool is the largest where the pool games take place, a adult only pool with a swim up bar (ideally needs more staff at the pool bar to allow staff to attend the swim up section, as you had to wait a long time or get their attention, it was quicker and easier to get out and order from the actually pool bar round the other side of the swim up bar, but still nice) the bar staff walk round and take drinks orders in the adults section. A adults only (large) jacuzzi with seating to the side of the main pools, this area is avoided by the entertainment team and spa staff. Games and entertainment daily, which can be viewed by the tui blue app - recommend downloading as you can book the restaurants and see the weekly activities. There is a sports bar, which was very quiet and tended to lack a bar man. Room was very clean, mini bar topped up daily, cleaner was very friendly and helpful. We did a late check out for €40 so we had the room til 6pm, suitcases were also collected from the room. We did not leave the hotel as we were having such a relaxing time. Cairo and Luxor were too far away for us to consider trips to, we were tempted by Mahmya island which looked beautiful. There is a parade of shops opposite the hotel where you can bargin with the locals, or a shopping centre with big brands nearby. Hugarda town was also recommended, bars, restaurants, beautiful pier. The sister hotel next door has a water park which you have access too, you can book and use the restaurants also although they are not free. We loved this hotel and holiday, the Sunrise hotel was amazing, if there was some in other countries I would book those of next time defiantly, although they are only in Eygpt and we like to visit different countries.
