"This hotel is excellent, truly all-inclusive. We stayed in mid-January, so it was winter, and our visit was brief. I definitely experienced a 'wow' effect, and it hadn't worn off even when we left. **Location:** It's located in Sahl Hasheesh Bay, in an area that's not particularly windy in winter, which is a huge plus for a winter vacation. There's also an enormous promenade in Sahl Hasheesh, about 10 kilometers long! **Architecture & Ambiance:** The building architecture is incredibly beautiful (!!!). The reception balcony, in particular, is stunning in its grandeur – it feels like stepping into an 'Egyptian palace' on a hill. You could honestly just sit and admire the hotel's views all day. Everything feels new and spotless, from the rooms to the grounds. **Staff:** The staff is very attentive, always ready to help, and genuinely happy to see you. Since the hotel is still relatively new (as of January 2026), the team is incredibly energetic and enthusiastic. **Food:** The food is so delicious and varied that it was hard to stop eating. It was a true test of self-control, wanting to try everything but physically being unable to eat more! The culinary team is excellent. There are also à la carte restaurants, Italian and Oriental. **Pools:** Only the pools along the buildings were heated (these are for ground-floor swim-up rooms), but since the hotel was just opening, we were able to use them even where rooms were empty. What a pleasure to relax in a warm pool! **Amenities:** They have fantastic sun loungers – soft and with canopies. There's also a new and excellent gym. You're always greeted by dedicated staff in these areas, whether it's a trainer/instructor in the gym or even attendants in the restrooms at reception and in the restaurants! Waiters also circulate by the sun loungers, asking what you'd like to drink. There's a singing fountain and a club on the premises. The beach is sandy with some corals. While we had a 'wow' experience at the hotel, to be completely factual and objective, there were a few minor things that hinted at the hotel still being in its soft-opening phase (these are small details, but they did contribute to a 50% discount – making it $200/night instead of $400/night): 1. Construction work was ongoing on the grounds. 2. No kids' club yet (promised, but seemingly still in the planning stages). 3. Animation was a bit weak. I only saw animators during the evening entertainment when performers were on stage; I didn't notice much activity from them around the hotel during the day (though I might have just missed them). 4. The evening entertainment itself was just okay (you wouldn't call it a 'show'), but the staff and local animators did their best to make it enjoyable. 5. The 'singing' fountains played the same tracks repeatedly and quite loudly, which was sometimes disruptive. But these are all minor points; the hotel is truly wonderful!"

Before booking Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada, we did our research—watched videos, checked reviews, and set our expectations accordingly. Listed as a 5-star hotel on Google and TripAdvisor, we expected a premium experience. However, once we arrived, we quickly realized that the reality fell far short of the rating. 1. The “All-Inclusive” That Isn’t Quite All-Inclusive The hotel advertises six restaurants, but the all-inclusive package only grants access to three—and even that comes with strict limitations. You must stay at least five nights to even qualify for reservations; otherwise, the buffet is your only guaranteed option. But even if you meet the criteria, getting a reservation is a struggle, and once inside, you’re pushed to pay extra for items outside the package. The upselling is relentless, from premium wines to certain dishes, turning what should be a relaxing meal into a sales pitch. Oh, and if you were hoping for fresh juice with breakfast? Extra charge. 2. Facilities: Decent, But Not 5-Star Worthy ✔ The pool, beach area, and lounge are well-maintained. ✔ Bars are available all day, and staff work hard to keep areas clean. ✖ Some rooms show clear signs of neglect, making this feel nowhere near a true 5-star hotel. If this hotel were truly 5-star, there wouldn’t be visible maintenance issues, questionable service, and inconsistent quality across the board."

"This was my first time staying at a hotel of this brand. The overall facilities were excellent, and the service was very warm and welcoming. The only downside was the food. This beach hotel and the Water Cube hotel are just across the street from each other, door to door. The street is designed like a prop within a tourist attraction, creating a strong sense of unity. The restaurants and beach facilities on both sides are shared, so you can book either one. There are many small shops along the street, staying open late, perfect for an evening stroll. However, there's not much worth buying – mostly generic souvenirs and a ton of counterfeit designer goods. Since we were traveling as a family, we booked a family room. It was quite spacious, facing the swimming pool and the sea, with an unbeatable view. We could fully appreciate the incredibly blue Red Sea and watch the sunrise. The room door opened onto a corridor facing west, offering breathtaking sunset views with the sky ablaze with vibrant colors. The hotel's public areas are very large, with a swimming pool, beach, golf course, diving, surfing, table tennis, billiards, spa, and more. It has everything you could want; it felt like we could stay for a long time. The hotel restaurants are divided into two types: those included in the all-inclusive package and those requiring payment. I have to complain about the fact that while all the restaurants advertised reservations, you could actually eat there without any problems. The main restaurant was absolutely terrible. I ate breakfast and dinner there, and apart from the noodles, eggs, and fruit, everything else was awful. The meat was poor quality; the shrimp and crab were dead (the meat was mushy), the smoked salmon was incredibly salty, the octopus was inedible, and all the juices were diluted. I recommend the poolside restaurant; the drinks and steaks are quite good. The pizza at the beachside restaurant is pretty good. The drinks at the lobby bar are varied and decent, but it's a bit of a shame that the fruit juices aren't free. For this price, if you're not too picky about food, you could easily stay for a few days. Of course, it would be even better if the hotel could add more high-quality restaurants and make reservations easier."

"We had a pleasant stay at Siva Golden Bay Makadi. The hotel is beautiful with an incredible view. Everything is very clean, and our room was spotless. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. A special shout-out to Ahmed, who takes care of the room cleaning, and Hussein Ali, who kindly offered us a late check-out. The beach is magnificent, the pool is very clean, and the facilities are varied and of good quality. Regarding the food, it was okay. The afternoon barbecue was quite good, as was dinner, but we really didn't like the breakfast. The only downside is that the hotel is far from the city center, but it's perfect for getting away from it all. We didn't encounter any French tourists at the hotel; there's a strong Slavic presence, so it definitely felt like a complete change of scenery. We recommend it a thousand times over."

"We travelled as a family of four, and our stay at SUNRISE Le Jardin exceeded every expectation. The hotel delivered excellence in all areas: food, service, cleanliness, activities, pools, and the beach. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and enjoyable. Even though the hotel was undergoing some renovation work, we barely noticed anything. The entire experience felt seamless. The staff truly stood out. Every team member greeted us with a smile, was helpful, polite, and consistently professional. Their teamwork and positive attitude made a big difference, and we felt genuinely well taken care of throughout our stay. Our children absolutely loved it. We have travelled to many countries, but this hotel in Hurghada clearly stands out when it comes to service level, activities, and the number of pools and facilities available. The beach was large and clean, the pools and waterpark offered plenty of variety and capacity, and everything felt safe and family-friendly. It is a place that perfectly suits small children, teenagers, and adults alike. Our room was exactly as described—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The cleaning was excellent, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel impressed us especially with its day- and evening activities for both children and adults. There was always something fun to do, and the variation ensured that every day felt different. We will definitely return. In fact, we were already discussing our next trip before we even got back home. Our children truly did not want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"We love this hotel. This is our first time in Hurghada and we made a great decision to stay here. The hotel is nice and clean, the room facing a swimming pool, with great AC, the only downside is the water pressure at the bathroom is a bit low. We stayed here for 7 days, during our stay we enjoyed all the hotel facilities. You will never go hungry staying in this hotel 😂 they have many restaurants with a lot of options for food. We will come back here for sure."
