This hotel is in the center of Hurghada. There are many shops at the door. It is very good to go shopping. The hotel is a family hotel. There are a lot of people. If you want a quiet place, I suggest you choose Somabay. We booked a room with direct access to the swimming pool. It is a great room type. There is a water slide outside. The slide is super fun. There are many swimming pools in the hotel, and there are two swimming pools surrounded by sea water. The quality of the sea water is not as good as in the south. The hotel staff is super nice. I went there alone at dinner time. When the staff saw me alone, everyone who passed by came to ask me how the food was and if I needed anything. It is much better than other hotels that discriminate against Chinese people. It is very pleasant. I recommend it.

This winter vacation, my children and I stayed at the Sunrise Aqua Joy Resort, which is not far from the airport and costs 120 pounds to take a taxi. Three buffet meals are included every day, and there is also a snack buffet time between lunch and dinner. At the same time, the pool bar, lobby bar, and beach bar also provide free drinks, snacks, and ice cream. The animation team of sunrise aqua joy has a very good atmosphere, and the children have a strong sense of participation. There are activities and performances every night (I encountered a fire dance show when I stayed, but not Sufi dance and belly dance). It has 7 outdoor swimming pools, among which the 90 cm and 120 cm children's pools are heated to 30 degrees, which is very friendly to children. Swimming at noon in winter is stress-free. In addition to the main buffet restaurant, it also has four free theme dinner restaurants: Egyptian restaurant, Asian restaurant, Greek restaurant, and Italian restaurant. These four restaurants require reservations one day in advance and are self-service. The Asian restaurant I chose had good stir-fries, but the soups were just a little less interesting. After eating, you can go to the main restaurant to see if there is anything you want to add. Dinner is served in the main restaurant until 10:30 pm. After the children are tired from playing, they can go back to the restaurant to replenish their energy. There are also some foam trays provided at the restaurant counter, so you can take some desserts and fruits back to your room to enjoy. Although labeled as 4 stars, its scale and facilities exceed those of Marriott in Hurghada (too quiet and business-like, children will be bored, and there are no children's facilities), Hilton and Movenpick (these two are more like 4 stars than Sunrise, and there is no team. Interactive), the only drawback is that the beach is not big.
