Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake Hot Spring Resort & Spa

Due to the typhoon, we had to change our Anji trip to Huzhou at the last minute. The hotel experience was great; our villa room was very spacious, and we even got an upgrade. There's a private hot spring in the basement, and we got 3 free digital photos from the photo shoot. Plus, there was a super nice light show in the evening!

Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. The staff were very friendly and would wave to us, making us feel right at home (¯▽¯)👍

The room was a bit old and dated, but the facilities were quite modern, with a smart toilet and electric curtains. The butler was available on WeChat throughout our stay, always responsive to our questions. The front desk service was excellent; they even gave game tokens to our child while we waited for our room, which made them very happy. It's a shame the weather didn't cooperate, as we didn't get to see the sunrise.

Booked a special offer villa room through Trip.com. The butler contacted me proactively before check-in to ask about any special requests and sent over the hotel's location. When checking in, the front desk upgraded our room, effectively doubling its size. The room was clean and tidy, making our stay much more comfortable. The hotel breakfast was very extensive and delicious.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the evening light show is beautiful. A special shout-out to their strong service awareness – they greeted us as soon as we walked in, and there was someone guiding us to our table at breakfast. It was a wonderful experience!

The hotel's environment and location are great. However, the room facilities and style are a bit outdated, which is understandable since it was renovated over a decade ago. The staff's service attitude is very good. The only downside is that the windows in the lake view room were quite dirty. I specifically chose a lake view room, but the photography experience was poor. I suggest keeping the windows clean; it would significantly enhance the experience for guests who enjoy taking photos.

The hotel is located on the southern shore of Taihu Lake, with half of it built right over the water, offering stunning surroundings. You can admire distant views of Taihu Lake's Dongting Mountain and scattered sailboats. Watching the sunrise over the lake in the morning is beautiful, and the building's light show at night is absolutely amazing. This historic hotel is a repeat visit for me, my third time here. The front desk upgraded my room to an executive floor free of charge, and from the balcony overlooking the lake, the beautiful scenery is simply breathtaking. The breakfast is incredibly varied, and the service is very professional. It was truly a value-for-money experience.
