All inclusive - First impression was a clean fresh reception and well presented staff. Fast check in and taken straight to our room. Room (2238) was clean, plenty of room with lovely views of the pool and sea. During our 7 day stay our room was cleaned daily maids did a great job!! Breakfast was plentiful and all dishes well presented. Staff could not be more helpful and happy to assist in anyway. Main restaurant - Lunch good range of food and well presented. Portifino for lunch was lovely, plenty of hot and cold choices, with a nice atmosphere with views of the sea. Sports bar - great if you want a small snack, burgers, hot dogs, cheese, meats and pizza. Draft beer great choice Campo cruzo, cocktails here and around the pool were nice but some we had to pay for. Restaurants - on a 7 day stay we could book three restaurants. the first Mexican - Dinner, Nice atmosphere situated away from the main hotel. Now for the down side - starters not the best, mains small not really traditional Mexican Cuisine .. I left all my food as it was tasteless. My husband ate his meal and was still hungry so ordered Ribs and said they were the best thing about this restaurant. Portifino - Dinner .. 3 cold soups and a rubbery cold spring roll. We asked the waiter is there only soup and a spring roll on starters he laughed and said yes. I ordered cray fish linguine with cherry tomatoes, I asked the waiter where are the cherry tomatoes and crayfish he shrugged his shoulders and then he picked up my knife, moved the linguine around and pull a white stringy like substance and said there is the crayfish!! I was mortified.. so left that! Last but not least Mediterranean - Lovely setting, food was lovely and staff were great! Seeing the island. We got the L14 bus outside the hotel for 1.50 euros to the old town which was beautiful and definitely worth the trip. We got the city ferry 5 euro back to the last stop En Bossa which was 40 mins walk along the beach back to the hotel which was lovely. in case you cannot do this walk taxis are always not too far 10 euro from there. Or bus! Walking noticing all the comfortable beach beds and realised that we did not have the option of beds on the beach with the hotel which was a shame as the beach/sea are beautiful. took a trip to Formentera from En Bossa and bought tickets from the kiosk for the trip and two mopeds and travelled around the island. Would maybe get a car next time though! We had food on the island pricy but worth it.. a real treat! Overall we had the best time here and would definitely come back with our daughter.
