We stayed at this hotel (for the second time) in October 2023 for a week. Previously we stayed in June 2023. We chose to go back to this hotel as we’d had such a nice time in June and it catered well for our toddler. The restaurant was good; however, there wasn’t any theme nights as there was in June – the food was a little samey. With the theme nights, the food had more variety. That said there was still plenty selection. The restaurant staff, however, were great and made a big effort with my very shy 23 month old. Evening entertainment; there was none. In the week we were there, there was entertainment on twice – one of which was paid for by a returning guest for his birthday (as he does every year apparently) and one was apparently (according to the rumours) because lots of people had complained. Daytime entertainment: I don’t think there was any this time round. There was music around the pool, however, it was more catered for a slightly older demographic – in June it was more party tunes and clearly catered for the younger demographic. The pool was nice and clean (both visits) – however, it was really cold in October (lovely in warm in June). The pool was too cold for my toddler unfortunately, so we spent more time at the beach this time. The seawater was much warmer than the pool. The pool area was clean enough, as there were less people there in October than June, there were enough sun umbrellas for everyone (we’d found in June there wasn’t quite enough). The beach is nice and clean, the hotel is virtually on the beach – it has a fabulous location for this and it definitely spoiled us being so close to it. Avoid the bars on the beach though, they are Ibiza prices + beach prices so are VERY expensive. We were in block 6, ground floor, overlooking the pool, room was clean and spacious. One thing I did love about the rooms was the blackout curtains – it’s a minor thing but it makes such a difference. On the ground floor you have shutters on the outside, and inside there is a blackout curtain and a net curtain for privacy. Our terrace had a drying rack and 2 chairs. I got bitten by a lot of mosquitos around the hotel and in the local area – all during the day. We didn’t have a problem in June with this, so just something to bare in mind if you do go to Ibiza later in the season. The local area has a bus stop a few yards away from the hotel which takes you to Ibiza town and there are a few night clubs close by (we didn’t hear any noise from these!) and several restaurants and shops. The restaurant and shop selection isn’t very good, but it is ok – there did look to be some nice restaurants, but the majority were burgers or KFC (obviously, catering to the younger club go-ers). The hotel is on the edge of the resort, so it is a little quieter, but a 10 mins walks takes you to the resort. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport which is absolutely perfect. Despite it not being as good in October as it was in June, we’d
