Family Ryokan Kawakyu with Showa Retro, Private Hot Spring

It is a bit far from the station, especially when carrying a suitcase. Friends with a good sense of direction can probably get there in 20 minutes. I thought everyone came by car. The old lady at the front desk said that many people came by bus 11. There are not many rooms, and they are basically full. When I arrived at the store, the boss heard that I was from China and quickly said that there was a good neighbor from Qingdao. Speaking of this Qingdao friend, he came to visit. I said that I just went to Qingdao to watch my idol's concert last month, haha. The room is small, but the bedding is very comfortable and I slept soundly. Thanks to the boss for getting up at 6:30 in the morning to send us to the station to catch Yufuin Forest. On the way, he told me a lot about his previous business trip to Guangzhou.

By the river, the air is good, but the transportation is inconvenient, self-driving tour is possible, the hot springs are authentic, breakfast🥣 and dinner can be reserved?

Stayed on April 3rd. I hadn't made a reservation for dinner, but when I asked they kindly agreed, and I am grateful for that. Thank you for joining us for drinks until late into the night. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great on this trip, but it was a good memory. I am grateful for the owner's thoughtfulness. There were only two disappointing points, so I would like to point them out. 1. There were no cups in the bathroom in the room. I couldn't rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. 2. The water in the family bath was from the hot spring, so it was very warm and wonderful, but it was disappointing that the water was lukewarm when I went in early in the morning. I wish they had explained to me that hot water comes out when you turn the tap from the hot spring. But I was very impressed by the wonderful water.
