"Our Third Visit to Ibusuki Royal Hotel – A Perfect Family Getaway This was our third stay at the Ibusuki Royal Hotel. On our previous family trips, we stayed next door at the Iwasaki Hotel, which is now unfortunately closed. The Royal Hotel is beautifully situated right by the seaside, offering stunning views of Mount Kaimon from the side — the scenery is simply breathtaking. Although the facilities are a bit dated, everything is immaculately clean, and the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. The spacious guest rooms and relaxing atmosphere reflect the charm of a seaside resort. The hot spring baths, including the open-air onsen, were the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet was also impressive — the quality and variety exceeded our expectations, and our whole family was delighted. Another plus is the hotel’s convenient location — within a 10-minute walk you’ll find the Daiei Shopping Mall, where you can easily pick up local foods and souvenirs. If you rise early, I highly recommend taking a morning stroll along the beach in front of the hotel. It feels like stepping into a scene from a movie — a peaceful and beautiful start to the day. If you’re planning a family trip, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. We visited by rental car from Kagoshima, but it seems that a shuttle service from JR Ibusuki Station is also available. A truly wonderful stay — we look forward to returning again!"

"This was once a luxurious hotel, but Yeltsin's time spared no one. He stayed here and even planted a tree. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer beautiful views, three different restaurants for dinner with exquisite cuisine, sake tasting, sand bathing right on the hotel premises, a huge onsen, and the hotel's layout allows for privacy from other guests. However, the vacation was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and even bloomed in the first week of September, there's no private beach, and the beds and pillows in the European-style rooms are simply awful. I don’t know Japanese and don’t have to be afraid. The boss brought his own translator and the translation was very accurate. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and it is very convenient to watch the sunrise."

"Hotel location is close to the famous sand bath hot spring, you can walk there, you can also buy tickets at the hotel (should be slightly higher than normal price), they will provide towels and cars to go to the sand bath hot spring. The hotel has a Japanese-style room, the room is wide, facing the sea, and the view is beautiful. As for the western-style room, it is the opposite direction, I don't know how the view is (because we live in Japanese). One berth and two meals, dinner is kaiseki cuisine, the portion is sufficient, delicious 😋. Breakfast is Japanese set (not buffet), and it is also very satisfying 😊 The hot spring is divided into male soup and female soup, there are baths and open-air winds, each suitable. The spring water is clear and there is no sulfur smell."

I gave you a sand bath coupon for the hotel's own sand bath hot spring, so you don't even have to go to the Sand Le Hall. The specialty of Ibusuki is the sand bath. You can’t take pictures, so just use the pictures on the official website to take a look. You can soak for ten minutes at most, half the amount for children, and a staff member will wake you up when the time is up. The swimming pool is open during this season. The hotel has a free shuttle service to Ibusuki Station in the morning, leaving at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. You need to make a reservation one day in advance. Dinner was Satsuma cuisine, which was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and delicious taste. Breakfast is buffet style. The Iwasaki Hotel next door actually had small fireworks on 8.12 nights, and I was lucky enough to catch them. The foreign girl at the front desk speaks very good English. She introduced herself as an expatriate from Dubai who has been working in Japan for 5 years. Now she speaks Japanese better than English 🙂"

"這家酒店不在指宿站 是在指宿站隔壁2站，宮濱站。 宮濱車站很有特色（圖3） 宮濱站出來走路10分鐘左右到達酒店（提前聯繫酒店可以在車站接送，我們行李不多沒約） 走去酒店路上遇到了美景！ 還有列車經過！真的太幸慶沒讓酒店接送了 酒店有兩班車送去沙蒸温泉♨️4:15/5:15，要提前預約，我們沒提前預約但很幸運有人取消，我們候補坐上了5:15的班車～回程巴士6:30，沙蒸温泉時間一個小時（如果衹是沙蒸10分鐘+温泉）時間剛剛好。 酒店包含早晚餐，不得不驚歎酒店的餐食太太太好了！我住過非常多次含餐食的温泉酒店，温泉酒店的懷石料理/會席料理很多時候都是精緻但説不上很好吃，但這家餐食居然出乎意料的好吃😋讓人印象深刻。大廚的服務非常非常好，他會逐一介紹菜品，即使我們日語不好也用英語介紹，全程非常關注每一個客户，真的做到用心對待每個客户。第二天早餐，大廚還安排我們坐到窗户的位置能看到大海（其他日本顧客都是坐回前一天晚餐的原位，大廚看我們外國客户特地安排我們坐窗邊），還幫我們拍照，服務真的超級無敵好。推薦給大家！！"
