Traditional cottage, that reminded me of childhood...in Ukraine? :-) We have/had the same way of constructing homes long ago. Upon arriving our host meet us, despite the late evening ( around 11 pm) and we had some stuff in the kitchen and the fridge waiting - home-made - real! House is equipped with airco, but, with temperatures outside 16 at night , 22-23 during daytime - we turned it on exactly ZERO times in our two-week stay. There is plenty of spaces, and plenty of flat, large and small cushions. Nice , small table outside - enough for 4-5 person, with shading roof. Houses were clean and Maria ensured helping us to keep them clean. There is no washing machine or dishwasher, but there is a laundry service, and remember - this is traditional living, not a big deal to wash your dishes. Plenty of good taverns around - and we can vote for a Rodos . Our location was allowing us to enjoy tranquility and sea views. Maybe 15 minutes walking to the beach. Once more - thank Ioanna and Maria for being our hosts !

An absolute dream! The cottages were rich with history and culture. Views were amazing! It was nice to spend time on this side of the island, quite removed from the touristy West side. I could spend a month working abroad and staying in the cottages - just a wonderful experience. The only downside, not a very walkable area.

It was perfect , the cottage and the view were great. Ionna gave us good advice to visit her country. We like Crète a lot. We recommand Koutsounary Cottage. We'll certainly come back when we'll visit Crète next time.

Extremt trevlig ägarinna! Berättade massor om omgivningarna, tipsade och var otroligt behjälplig! Stället insåg var otroligt trevligt! Uteplatsen superfin med magisk utsikt, inredningen toppen! Kunde inte haft en bättre vistelse på östra kreta. Sen var ju den hemgjorda marmeladen vi bjöds på den bästa jag ätit!

È tutto così semplice ma al tempo stesso ricercato e raffinato ! Siamo stati bene anzi benissimo e Joanna è una persona così accogliente e simpatica, una presenza importante per risolvere ogni problema e suggerire gite interessanti in una zona di Creta splendida .

If you are visiting the Irepetra area of Crete, you can of course stay at one of the fancy resorts right on the water. But if you want a truly unique and memorable experience, THIS is the place to stay. Authentic, traditional vibe with all the necessary modern amenities, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, within walking distance of many Tavernas AND the beach, and in my opinion a better view of the Libyan Sea. Plus Ioanna and her wonderful staff will take good care of you. If I could give it 6 stars I would - will definitely be returning here the next time I visit the area!!!

Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni al cottage. Il cottage è ancor più carino di quanto si veda in foto e più grande. Ogni dettaglio è curato meticolosament. Ioanna, la proprietaria, ha una marcata capacità per l'interior design e ogni oggetto, angolo, colore, tutto si sposa perfettamente! Nella piccola cucina c'è tutto quello che serve per preparare un posto veloce, ma volendo, c'è anche il forno. Il bagno è nuovissimo ed elegante, gli asciugamani avvolgenti. Inoltre, in dotazione ci sono prodotti per il bagno, come in hotel. Ogni tre giorni vengono cambiati lenzuola e asciugamani. C'è una macchina Nespresso e una macchina per il caffè con il filtro. Lo spazio all'aperto è delizioso e spazioso. Peccato non aver avuto la vista sul mare, ma i cottages vista mare erano occupati. Ioanna è generosa nei consigli e grazie a lei abbiamo visitato i luoghi più belli della zona e siamo stati nei migliori ristoranti, e per nulla cari. Grazie Ioanna per questo bellissimo soggiorno.

Das Cottage ist genauso wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Wunderschön! Einfach und dennoch wertvoll. Eine Rarität! Absolut erholsam, wenn man Kreta von Herzen mag. Die Gastgeberin Ioanna ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage in dem Cottage.
