Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 4 (a couple and 2 elementary school students) during the year-end and New Year holidays. This inn seems to have opened in October 2022 after being renovated from another ryokan, so it feels more for foreigners than for Japanese people. There is no elevator, but the suitcases and luggage I left before check-in were carried to the room. It's a wooden building, so the walls are thin, and there was a sign saying no loud noises. The bath is a hot spring and the spring quality is good, but it cannot be said that it is large. There are 3 showers in the men's bath and 10 lockers with locks in the dressing room, but it was so cramped if two adults changed clothes at the same time. If you are an adult, it is better to have about 2 people at the same time, and if 3 to 4 people enter, it will be full. It's just a little bigger than a home bath. There was one coin laundry. You need to bring your own detergent, but there is a washing machine and dryer, which is recommended for long-term guests and those who want to keep luggage to a minimum. Necessary amenities are available at the front desk. There is no refrigerator and TV in the room, so it would be nice if it was easy, but it was a little inconvenient when drinking alcohol bought at a convenience store in the room. The toilet in the room has also been renovated, and it feels like a clean home toilet.

Very close to local train and bus station but for JR is 15 minutes walk, though the JR has a bus line for it but you still need to pay $220.and have to wait every 20 minutes! the local bus is more convenient! Room is big and comfortable! Would recommend and come back again!

On the narrow top, the height of the bath tub is high, and the person with bad legs does not enter. There is no stand or railing. The public bath is small enough to laugh. After that, some showers do not have hot water. There are children's toys, but they have mold. In addition, there were many things that were unwritten and unpleasant. I stayed for two nights, so ２ days were melancholy. This service, facilities, this price is a bumpy. I will never go again and I will never recommend it to acquaintances.

The public bath is small, but since I was using it on weekdays, I was lucky to be able to use it privately. It was also fun to be able to choose shampoo. Although there is no restaurant that serves breakfast or dinner, we were able to order a breakfast bento box that seemed to be outsourced when making a reservation. This was very delicious and a great choice. There are many delicious restaurants nearby for dinner, so I didn't have any problems.
