Best Hotels near Horyu-ji Shoryo-in (Hall of Sacred Spirit), Ikaruga

This price is really worth it: the room is big, the facilities are excellent, the hygiene is good, and the service is good. The transportation is really inconvenient. There is basically no bus after 18:00, and the nearest subway is more than 2 kilometers away. Calling a taxi? Forget it! First, there are few, and second, you can't install Japanese taxi apps without a Japanese mobile phone number. I found the nearest station of the Cong Railway on my first night after 30 minutes of walking through the countryside, vegetable fields, and cemeteries with my luggage. The second night was better, and I walked through a 15-minute uninhabited area. Having said so much, it doesn't mean that I will never choose it, but if you don't care about transportation issues, it is highly recommended.

This year, when I went to Miyajima / Narita, I had the opportunity to see Wasora Monzen Inn, and I tried using it when I went to Nara this time. The room was large and clean, the food was perfect, and my wife was very satisfied. JW Marriott's site selection in Nara was such a failure that I was shocked. It is far away from all the attractions and stations in Nara. The rooms have no views, not even green plants. It is just a roadside business hotel on the outskirts of the city without any Nara characteristics. Two-thirds of the rooms are in The road side is very noisy. I moved to the inner side to make it quieter. It takes ten minutes to get to Nara Kintetsu Station. The bus takes 30 minutes. It is not convenient to travel. I rely on rentals. There is no one at the door of the hotel. I have to wait for more than ten minutes to call. The service is warm but there will be mistakes in getting breakfast. The concierge took things and made arrangements for the restaurant. The concierge also looked like he was unfamiliar with the business and said the line was busy. He made an announcement and did not reply. The room was a five-star level and the breakfast was OK. There was no hot spring. In addition to the dining bar, there was only one Western restaurant at the door. There was no set meal price. There seem to be a lot of foreign employees in Taihang. Generally speaking, I don’t recommend staying at Fufu. It’s just in the park. It costs more than 3,000 yuan per person, including breakfast and dinner. There are also hot springs where you can soak in the Marriott. It costs more than 2,000 yuan. The location is boring. The only bright spot is that there is a Tsutaya store next to it.

I visited Shigisan during Christmas and I stayed at Shigisan Kanko Hotel. The hotel arranged a shuttle to pick me up at the train station and the check in was very easy. There were two onsen pools for the guests and both breakfast and dinner were included in my booking. The food was delicious and the service was great. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Shigisan!

It was a little hidden and difficult to understand, but it was good that the equipment was in place! The front desk smelled a little cigarette, but I don't think some people care about it, so I think it's okay! It was clean and comfortable!

I think the general experience around this area of Japan is pretty much the same Kind of Old fashioned as here is more of a rural area of japan If you are only staying for a night to visit the deer park and chill then this can be a good choice Oh there is a ****** nearby We heard some kind of haunting stories about the hotel area not sure if that’s worth mentioning

Close to shopping streets and stations, within walking distance to museums and Todaiji Temple. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, coffee shops downstairs...it is very convenient for travel and dining. The room size is ideal, the facilities are complete, and the soft and hard furnishings are all online. The only dissatisfaction during my stay: there was no advance notice of the fire drill. I woke up to the alarm in the morning. The first playback was in Japanese, which was completely incomprehensible and very embarrassing. The Indian front desk receptionist upon check-in should remind guests that there will be a fire drill the next morning. Judging from the reactions of other guests, they must have known about this beforehand.
