Absolutely terrible. Do not waste your time and money coming here. We payed for a Twin room and were given a double bed to share, bare in mind this is to share with my sister... I asked to speak to a manger and nobody was around to assist us. The toilet locks didn't work. The pathetic excuse of a hairdryer was smoking within seconds of turning it on and left a foul smell in the room. Which may I also add is a major health and safety issue. No body, hair soaps were provided. Staff were very unhelpful and dismissive. The falsely advertised room had one window which backed into the reception so no air flow was provided, nor air-con or fan to make up for this terrible room display. 2/3 light bulbs were working in order. The room was dark and gloomy and did not offer any daylight due to the terrible window placement. Due to the room room placement my sister and I did not get a wink of sleep due to having a window right by the reception, (my sister attempted to sleep on the floor due to the bed situation) every word spoken between colleges and phone calls made were heard word for word which made our stay terribly unpleasant, after all, we came to get a good nights sleep due to being in a different location. The manager tried to place the blame onto myself and my sister and had a absolutely no rooms to offer to us due to the awful circumstances. We travelled around 90 miles from home and was told to cancel the booking and book another hotel if we were not happy when no where local was available due to busy public live events in the area. What were we expected to do, two young woman stranded in the streets of London alone at night? Absolutely despicable in our opinion. Honestly you'd be better off waiting the night out in a McDonald's!

Pros The hotel is very much like a Premier Inn, the beds were comfortable and the bedding was exactly like Premier Inn. The decor of the room was also the same colour. Cons There was no soap or shower gel in the room and the shower head could do with replacing and the towels are not sympathetic to larger people! You definitely need bigger towels. Also despite turning the knob on the radiator, it wouldn't turn down in our room and it was scorching to touch. We had to sleep with both windows wide open which of course made it very noisy as on a main road.

Noisy, low budget, don’t bother. £95 per room. Not worth it. Not the cleanest and you have better choices close by. Ilford is great location as on the new queen Elizabeth line so London is very accessible. The town has lots of places to eat and would return.

No expense is thrown at this hotel that more resembles a Japanese prisoner of war camp…but without the laughs. Minimalist is the best way to describe the room….as there’s nothing in it. No shower-gel. No bedspread…duvet?! My door wouldn’t close because the bed was in the way. The shower had two temperatures ice cold or the surface of the sun! The one positive thing was the breakfast! It was nice and the server girl was friendly…although had a dead look behind her eyes as she clearly knew life must be better somewhere else.

Shower didn’t work, asked on the first morning to have it fixed, never happened. They told us to use the communal shower even though we paid for a room with a shower, didn’t offer any refund for the difference. They’ve clearly tried to copy premier inn and it’s gone horrible wrong.

Now usually I read reviews and think wow people over exaggerate until my trip to Ilford's finest hotel, the Rossmore. We had to stay here for one night due to last minute arrangements with work so landed here. We were greeted at what appeared to be a rip off of the premier Inn, but that was as close as it came to the premier Inn. Checked in went outside for a smoke to see a man lurking in the carpark(it was only 7pm) checking all the cars as blatantly as you like. We then took a journey up to the room. It was a good size for the price I guess but that was the only perk. We had one working plug, the shower water was hotter than the kettle and broken so couldn't really turn it down to dry off we were given a towel the size of a kitchen cloth, ok maybe that was an exaggeration, two kitchen cloths... We then checked out what Ilford had to offer for dinner but decided KFC was the best option. We ate that in the lounge where the bar is closed permanently and there is no pool table like the website shows, dined in there and headed back to the room, the light went green but we couldn't open the door so went back to reception and told the chap and his response whilst it was comedy gold was unhelpful, he said 'did you try pushing the handle down' to which my friend replied' f*** me mate I know how to open a door' another chap appeared from a door rescanned the card and we were in. Slept ok, woke up to discover black hairs in my bed a big clump...nice. went to breakfast whilst the lady was polite the food wasn't for me again you get what you pay for. I was pleased to leave it made me appreciate my own bad, strange place in all, I found out some more of the lads who were staying with us, had the pleasure of staying an extra night, went to breakfast saw a rat in the dining room, fortunately he was just passing through to go to his room and didn't stay with them for breakfast. In all an eye opening trip, I thought if these can run a hotel anyone can, try it for yourself don't take my word for it and enjoy... Good luck, you'll need it.

The receptionist looks puzzled and stares Staff cannot speak English properly and just stand in the corridors staring.. Carpets are ripped and hanging out Hygiene is very bad.. Asked for soap or shampoo and was told this hotel doesn't provide it , paid £75 Not allowed guests Also ordered a takeaway , needed a fork The receptionist said "we don't have cutlery " .. but the hotel provides a free breakfast facility in the morning. Wouldn't recommend to anyone .. Stayed here a year ago , was nothing like this and I'm stuck here now till tomorrow 10/09/2022

On arrival we were told that they were about to let our room to someone else as we arrived late. They apparently had been trying to call yet not a single missed call on the phone. After insisting we need to prove who we were and having to email a copy of her driving license to them, we asked how long they keep our personal information as we were concerned. They said they don’t know but we couldn’t stay without it so we had no choice. We were not advised of when to come for breakfast and this would come back to bite us in the morning. We were then told our room number. On walking into the room, the people in the room above had extremely loud music on and this was past midnight by now. I went back to reception and reported this and thankfully it stopped shortly after. On walking into the room we were presented with a wall that had obviously suffered from some water damage. There was a big hole and water stains all over it. The carpet in the room was uneven and a potential trip hazard. The bedside lamp had been unplugged and the wire was extended with a terminal block very badly and potentially dangerously. We did not touch it. The plug socket next to the bed was hanging off of the wall so couldn’t use that. The bed was actually not too bad and was quite comfortable. We woke up in the morning and after getting ready to go to breakfast just after 9am. On arrival at reception we were told breakfast finished at 9am. We were told that we should have known that. I advised I wasn’t told and their was nothing in the room advising of this. All we got was I am really sorry but it’s too late. We immediately went back to our rooms, grabbed our bags and left. The initial staff member we spoke to on reception was not interested in being helpful and offered no advice other than to tell us he nearly let a room we paid for to someone else. My opinion of this hotel is avoid at all costs. They don’t seem to care and the state of the place is a disgrace. The price was not cheap either. If you stay here, you are taking your chances.
