It was my first time visiting a remote island in Shimanami, so I didn't know where to go from left to right, but when I asked the staff at the inn, they told me a lot of things. thank you.

(2023/04/04) My recommendation is that you don't sleep in Omishima if you can avoid it. If you can't help it, I recommend you avoid this accommodation. The person who attended us was not attentive at all. He spoke English, but he limited himself to telling us how to enter the code to open the main door, which room we should use and where the bathrooms were. It doesn't seem very secure, it only has a key for the main entrance and some lockers. There are only two bathrooms and two showers for around 5 rooms with between 2 and 4 beds each. The rooms and bathrooms seem clean. The beds are very uncomfortable, the mattresses/futons are worn out. The lower floor and reception do not look like the photos the owner has posted, it looks cluttered, chaotic and dirty. The WiFi network is slow. They don't serve breakfast. It seems like you have had a very good vibe at some point but our experience has not been that at all. It is a real shame. 😞
