A great hotel in a great location in Chinon. I was unexpectedly on crutches when we arrived but the staff found me a room on the 1st floor which i managed to navigate to. The staff helped us with luggage on arrival and departure which was much appreciated. We had expected a garage space which didn't pan out but it turned out to be no problem as we found a spot in the parking under the tunnel. The patio area in the hotel was very pleasant to sit and relax in. Breakfast was really nice with lots of choices. Sophie and the rest of the staff were just great. Rooms were on the small side but the hotel was adorable. Thank you!

Nice hotel, a short walk to a lot of things. On site parking (we were not driving), comfortable air conditioned room room with large shower bath. Good selection at breakfast; dinner dining a short walk away. A ten minute walk to the tourist office (many of the Loire Valley tours leave from here), train station, and main shopping street. We would stay here again.

What a place! This hotel is beautiful, and perfectly located—an easy 10 minute walk to the town center. Location is great to access nearby castles such as Chenonceau and Clos Luce—both which should not be missed. Likewise, terrific restaurants within an easy 10 minute walk—La Breche was definitely a favorite, as was Le Clos d'Amboise. Chateau de Pray was also good, and an easy 3 minute drive. We stayed in a junior suite. The room was spacious, and beautifully appointed. Service at the hotel is excellent. Didn’t like the breakfast too much (extra charge), but there are other options in town. Just a perfect place to stay if your visiting the Loire area.

Stayed for three nights and was very satisfied. The location is good, quiet, within walking distance of the town center and the castle. The room is very comfortable. The parking lot was in the yard. I couldn't get in. The staff came out to help when they saw it. The breakfast is not very rich, but all the food is of high quality. It is recommended to order a dinner there. It is delicious and the service is excellent. The selected family room has a sofa bed that can be opened to sleep, which is very spacious

We based in this hotel our visit to the Castle of Villandry (very nice both, the garden and the building), being at less than 500 m of distance and being in the right position to split the trip returning from Mont St. Michel ot our town in north of Italy. It is also close to Tours. The hotel is special, being in a small old building; our room was under roof with a special shape of the bathroom (making a little bit complex the use of the shower ...). Room and bathroom perfectly serviced (e.g. with hair dryer) and enough spacious. We didn't use the braekfast. Free parking immediately in front of the hotel.

If you are considering traveling to the Loire Valley to immerse yourself in the French countryside and visiting Chateaus there is no were better to stay than Chateau de Perreux. What an incredible property! Our stay here was a true highlight of our travels in France. We wish we had only had a longer stay to have been able to enjoy the property more. Fellow Americans note that while the property lists air conditioning depending on the time of year and current outdoor air temps the A/C may not be in use. We were able to keep our windows open to cool off the space (mid-June) which was manageable somewhat but just something you need to get used to when visiting France. Location is great for day-tripping to chateaus in the Loire and the proprietor is very kind and helpful. The property is impeccably maintained. A true gem of a place to stay in the Loire Valley.

This chateau located in the Touraine area was built in the elegant Napoleon III style. It overlooks the Choisille Valley. Oak parquet floor walls adorned by tapestries in the splendidly decorated rooms and suites. Some of them feature four-poster beds or bubbling baths. Guests always fall in love with the large landscaped park with its rare essential oils. In the summertime they take advantage of the surroundings to enjoy breakfast served on the terrace or relax in the heated swimming pool. The chateau life continues into the evening with the surprise candlelit dinner.
