"Stayed here the night before climbing Mount Fuji. We had a beautiful view of Mount Fuji from the rooftop. Our room was also very clean. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, but they gave my companion incorrect information about the shuttle bus times, which caused some confusion. Luckily, I had researched the times beforehand, so it wasn't a major issue. However, I think it would be beneficial for them to be aware that shuttle bus schedules can differ between the climbing season and other times, especially given the hotel's location. Other than that, I think it's a great hotel."

"One thing that’s best - Mount Fuji view when the weather is good. It seemed like just right in front of you. No matter from the room or the 4th floor restaurant where we had our breakfast or even the open rooftop. Rooms was clean, top class in-room amenities provided, very good buffet breakfast with scenic view overlooking Mount Fuji and staffs were friendly and helpful. We got free parking in front of the hotel throughout our 2 nights stay. There were so much you could do while staying at this hotel. Whether you want to enjoy the beautiful Mount Fuji with coffee brew in your room, or get discounted price + early entry to the amusement park right beside the hotel, or enjoy the onsen hot pool next to the hotel. They even send us to the top of Fujiyama Tower complimentary and there you’ll have a stunning view of Mount Fuji and the amusement park, plus you’re able greet to the riders of the king of coaster when it pass by. Highly recommended!"

"Very convenient place to stay. Just a few steps to Fuji Station. The highlight will be rooftop viewing of the Mt. Fuji on good day and luck is on our side during our stay. It was really pretty. Walkable distance to the famous Honcho Street. There is a daiso inside the station. Very convenient if your last stop is outside of Tokyo or major city. Parking provided. Staff able to communicate in Chinese and is friendly."

"Generally speaking, I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Convenient with its location close to the station. With nice hot spring on the top of the building. I experienced the M6 earthquake during my stay at night. The staff are quickly came to check the hot spring floor if all the guests are alright. The had blocked the lifts and open the staircase door to go down. The Public announcement through the speaker in room told the guests no need to panic… For housekeeping, they need to improve as we found our room did not close the room door after made up the room. HSKP card still left at the entrance and seems waiting for room inspection?? But we strongly concern our belongings and safety. The English level of the front desk team are so so. Few are below. Breakfast are alright. The menu are the same for my stay for 2 nights. Staff are helpful."

"Staying at this resort was a truly relaxing experience. The peaceful and quiet surroundings, combined with the beautiful view of Mount Fuji, made it unforgettable. The highlight was soaking in the hot spring while looking out at the mountain — it was incredibly calming and special. The resort itself is small and a bit old, but it has a cozy and tranquil atmosphere that adds to its charm. If you are looking for a place to unwind away from the busy city, this is a great choice. I would especially recommend it for families who want to spend quality time together in a serene environment."

"Honestly cleanliness wise, -1 for it being just a little dusty floor (but you have slippers) and you may see the wood furnitures has some scratches due to age but otherwise you can expect a clean space 😁 location is about 10 min walk to bus station, Lawson and theme park. Has shuttle bus service to Fujikyu Highland Bus station & vice versa, so you don't need to go through other transportation hassle with your luggage. Service is impeccable with all friendly smiles and attention whenever they see you at their main service centre in the property. Every villa has rooftop full Mt Fuji view but if you want window Fuji view from inside your villa that will see your luck as you may be blocked by other villas. Nevertheless would recommend staying here for any family or group of friends. Decent facility to stay in and not go anywhere in Kawaguchiko too. Picture of rooftop view and around villa walkway."

"Absolutely stunning views of Mount Fuji! The parking was super convenient, and the layout of the 3-bedroom villa was just perfect. The kitchen and living room were also very spacious and comfortable. Next time I come to Fuji, I'm definitely staying here again."

"We stayed as a group of 5 people. The house was very neat, clean, and comfortable. It has all the necessary dishes and appliances (with the exception of a clothes dryer, perhaps, but there's a laundromat a 2-minute walk away). If you're staying for 1-3 nights with a large group, I definitely recommend it. But for a longer stay, say a week, it might be better to look for a better option. Downsides: - A railway line is located 5 meters from the house (it didn't bother us much, as we're used to train noise, but the trains were very audible). - Poor sound insulation inside the house. - No reception or anyone to contact for a quick response. - No designated smoking area. - No drinking water in the room. - Very small TV (considering the room is for 6 people, it's impossible for everyone to watch a movie together). TVs in other hotels in Japan are considerably larger (a subjective drawback). - Very thin futons (again, we traveled a lot around Japan, and this was the first time we saw such thin futons). - Only 1 toilet for 3 bedrooms (a subjective drawback). - Strange layout of the kitchen and living areas – on the second floor (a subjective drawback). - HORRENDOUS check-in system. Overall, it's understandable, but their passport recognition system via photo might not work immediately, might not work on certain phones, or might not open at all. After photographing your passport, you'll have to painfully manually enter some data on a large tablet, with a keyboard smaller than a phone's. And then you'll still have to make a video call to confirm the stay of all guests previously listed by passport data. The tablet connection with the operator is terrible. Very bad, Rakuten, this is the best anti-advertisement for internet and communication I've ever seen."

"I stayed at Fujisan Station Hotel and found it quite convenient overall. The location is excellent, just across from Mt. Fuji Station, making it very easy to get around. Check-in was done with the staff and went smoothly. Free parking is available, which is a plus. There is no onsen and no complimentary bottled water, but there is a free ice machine in the dining area, along with vending machines for snacks and drinks. The water faucet is an old-style rotary type. Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM, but food runs out quickly due to the large number of guests. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, grilled mackerel, rice, miso soup, salad, fresh milk, and granola. The small bread rolls and mini croissants were not very good. The twin room was clean, but the beds were quite firm and not very comfortable."

"I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign."
