Fujiyoshida Hotels with Wifi

The apartment itself doesn't look the fanciest from the outside, but it is a really excellent space. The beds are warm and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the projector was a great surprise for watching movies on a wet days. While it requires a short walk, it is nicely positioned for accessing all parts of Fujiyoshida, including the main viewing points for Fujisan, the stations and Fuji-Q. The price is very reasonable and it makes for a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The hotel is very close to Mount Fuji Station, only a 5-minute walk. The front desk staff was a ********* guy, so communication in Mandarin was seamless. He explained all the hotel facilities in great detail. We chose a mountain view room, and indeed, waking up in the morning and opening the window revealed a stunning mountain view. The room also had a travel guide created by the hotel. The top floor has a large terrace, and it was so pleasant to wake up, grab a coffee, and sit there enjoying the view of Mount Fuji. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I get the chance!

A charming little house at the foot of Mount Fuji, full of traditional Japanese character. The host is a kind and welcoming lady, and communication is easy with a translation app. Private rooms are comfortable, while the shared spaces create a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can meet travelers from all over the world—perfect for those who enjoy socializing. It truly feels like home here (I even once forgot to lock the door when going out!). The only small downside is the location—it’s about a 2 km walk from the station—but the cozy, welcoming vibe makes it more than worth the effort.

We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji. Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed. We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience. After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work. Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget. The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased. All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again.

Wonderful place! We were excited with a view of Fujisan, atmosphere of the ryokan, traditional Japanese style dinner, an ofuro in the room. Service was perfect. There’s a lovely garden, beautiful and quiet. Also visited a drum show and it was really cool, highly recommended! And the bingo game was very funny. So it was a really excellent experience. Thank you a lot!

We stayed as a group of 5 people. The house was very neat, clean, and comfortable. It has all the necessary dishes and appliances (with the exception of a clothes dryer, perhaps, but there's a laundromat a 2-minute walk away). If you're staying for 1-3 nights with a large group, I definitely recommend it. But for a longer stay, say a week, it might be better to look for a better option. Downsides: - A railway line is located 5 meters from the house (it didn't bother us much, as we're used to train noise, but the trains were very audible). - Poor sound insulation inside the house. - No reception or anyone to contact for a quick response. - No designated smoking area. - No drinking water in the room. - Very small TV (considering the room is for 6 people, it's impossible for everyone to watch a movie together). TVs in other hotels in Japan are considerably larger (a subjective drawback). - Very thin futons (again, we traveled a lot around Japan, and this was the first time we saw such thin futons). - Only 1 toilet for 3 bedrooms (a subjective drawback). - Strange layout of the kitchen and living areas – on the second floor (a subjective drawback). - HORRENDOUS check-in system. Overall, it's understandable, but their passport recognition system via photo might not work immediately, might not work on certain phones, or might not open at all. After photographing your passport, you'll have to painfully manually enter some data on a large tablet, with a keyboard smaller than a phone's. And then you'll still have to make a video call to confirm the stay of all guests previously listed by passport data. The tablet connection with the operator is terrible. Very bad, Rakuten, this is the best anti-advertisement for internet and communication I've ever seen.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our visit to Mount Fuji. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding attractions. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. While the quality of the food was good, the menu remained the same every day. It would be great if the hotel could offer more variety and rotate the breakfast selections daily, especially for guests staying multiple nights.

There were some old and stained parts, but the room was well equipped with everything I needed. When you go outside, you can see Mt. Fuji clearly beyond the buildings. I’m glad I chose this place. If you want to see Mt. Fuji from your room, you need to select that option. Also, you can hardly see Mt. Fuji from the outdoor bath.

The room is pretty standard for a guesthouse. The layout of the room I booked wasn't ideal, with the head of the bed facing the toilet. However, the bed faced a balcony with a large marble bathtub, which was quite fun to fill yourself for a soak. There was also a shower that sprayed like rain, and cherry blossoms and leaves would occasionally fall from the tree overhead, along with a few bugs – understandable, given its location at the foot of the mountain. Overall, it was decent. But the soundproofing was terrible; the snoring from both neighboring rooms created a symphony! What’s more, the clothes from the washing machine still smelled like poop. I ended up using the marble bathtub for washing and drying clothes, which was a novel experience, to say the least. It’s more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Be cautious about using the 600 yen laundry and drying service, because, well, it might smell like poop…

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Clean, airy and conveniently located to many places to visit. The hostess was super friendly, gave us instructions on how to get around cheaply and even gave us gifts!
