1950s themed guest house, spotlessly clean with a very friendly and accommodating host. Around a 15 minute walk to the city centre. We stayed in the 3 bed room, comfortably sized and came with some complementary drinks in the fridge. Would definitely recommend.

C’est un charmant et original bed and breakfast, avec son style créé par ses hôtes. C’est un joli endroit avec une chambre très « boudoir » … et une salle de déjeuner très américaine année 50 . Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des produits fait maison excellente (pain, pâtisseries, yaourts, etc) et très copieux. L’hôtesse est si gentille et sympathique, au petit soin pour ses invités. Ottima soluzione per chi si ferma ad Inverness. Noi abbiamo dormito nella camera Marylin. La padrona di casa Mandy è fantastica e riempie di coccole e attenzioni i suoi ospiti. Offre una buona colazione in una sala anche quella arredata in modo particolare (sembra di essere dentro ad una puntata di happy days). Il b&b si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Inverness e ci si arriva percorrendo una strada dritta dove si incontra una pizzeria da asporto, un fish & chips, una coop, un tesco e una panetteria famosa. Lo consiglio assolutamente.

Mandy is full of attentions with her Guest and everything is comfortable and prepared with love. Bedrooms are great with original décoration and welcome drinks and breakfast on thé dinner room homebaked and so good.

Rooms had all we needed though a little squishy with luggage. Staff was friendly. Make sure you put the decorative throws somewhere she can see them or she will chase down your car and cut into your travel itinerary.

Stayed at the gleninver twice in two weeks while visiting Stornoway, always a delightful experience,Mandy is such a friendly host,rooms are so comfortable and beautifuly furnished,with everything you could possibly need during your stay (even beer and champagne in the fridge). Mandy’s breakfasts are a superb way to start the day wether the full or delicious and varied continental. Would definitely recommend,can’t wait to return!

Excellent host, very friendly and helpful. Felt very much at ease and comfortable. Easy to find. Just tucked back from the road with parking. Only 3 rooms so very personal. Beds lovely and very comfortable. We had the room with the external private bathroom. The bathroom was a good size with bath & shower with toiletries provided. Robes provided in the room for your modesty so the external bathroom wasn’t an issue for us. Bathroom was served in the quirky kitchen and dining room. Plenty of choice and the host was on hand to cook a hot choice. Would definitely return.

Stayed here for five nights and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Host Mandy was unbelievably welcoming and helpful going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
For a small B&B the facilities in our room were amazing. The bed was comfortable and, being set back from the main Fort William Road, there was little traffic noise.
Breakfast? - Superb! All you could ask for. Location was just right for us, just a pleasant 15/20 minute walk to town centre alongside the river.

Loved our stay at the Gleninver Guest house. Our host was very attentive to our needs and suggested local places in town to make our experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful with specific dietary accommodations for us. The breakfast "diner" was unique as was the decorations of each room. Although the hot tub wasn't available (due to covid restraints), our overall experience was fantastic and would recommend to any travelers.
