The room is clean and comfortable, but there is no air-conditioning and it can be a little hot sometimes. The temperature sense is different in different rooms, you can ask the front desk. But it's fine to live in.

I have stayed in a hotel of this brand before. With such a high price, I really look forward to staying here. The actual room type is relatively old and the facilities are average.

Too hot in room, view of a roof and incorrect food and drink billed to my room. Noisy as well, rooms are not soundproof.

Good location with nicely decorated bar area and bedroom. Evening meals good. Reasonable choice for breakfast although buffet style service akin to a smash and grab raid. This exacerbated by food choices being squashed in by breakfast room and kitchen exit/entrance....chaotic plus. Staff with exception of one grumpy and sullen breakfast waitress fantastic. Bedroom in newish wing hot +++. Staff provided a fan which helped. No mini fridge or safe in room which I would have like. Pillows horrible..I probably should have asked if had any alternatives. Very squeaky floor boards in room above which messed up our sleep.

Hotel is nice and my preferred hotel when visiting Inverness. However, Block 10 which seems like an overflow block next door to the main hotel has a heavy front door that bangs shut every time someone enters or exits. Fortunately I was up fairly early for work but didn’t appreciate being woken from about 6am onwards. Every bedroom door in this block faces out on to the front door so there’s no escaping the loud bang of the door. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel but would not accept a room in this block.
