Die Unterkunft ist super, als Tourist ist man super zentral in der Stadt etwa 2-3 min Fußweg und direkt bei der Burg sowie der Kathedrale. Ein Supermarkt ist auch 2 min zu Fuß entfernt und etliche Restaurants. Es ist sehr sauber und der Spa Bereich ist klasse und das Personal sehr freundlich und interessiert. Leider war das Frühstück für 17£ recht mager und ausschließlich britisch. Zudem waren die ersten zwei Nächte gewisse Gäste in der Nacht sehr laut auf dem Flur und meinten gegen 1 Uhr nachts so laut zu lachen und Türen zu knallen. Dennoch alles in einem 4/5 Sterne ganz klar!

Room good but not fabulous, our friend was in ‘the cottage’ on the other side of the car park. Not much fun if it’s raining. Lift is a joke as it would not let my hubby and I travel together,we are not lightweights but we weigh well less than the 300 kg limit so not impressed. Again shower over bath so no good to me and fully booked so I could not change. Bar/restaurant was good and not too pricey, surprisingly good entertainment, not too loud and could actually sing. Clean quiet room. Lift was issue coming down again but it is what it is. Would we stay again without a group. Absolutely.

Très belle façade au bord du Ness et d'une rue calme. Peu de places de parking à l'hôtel mais il est facile de se garer dans la rue. Hébergés dans l'annexe au N°10, chambre très vaste, plafond très haut avec moulures et fenêtres en bow window avec vue sur la rivière et le château. Mais insonorisation nulle : bruits de portes qui claquent quand elles se ferment y compris celle de l'entrée. Dur de dormir le matin quand les claquements commencent dès 6h30. Nous avions pourtant été surclassés. Salle de bain propre mais il y manquait une brosse pour les wc. Salle de restaurant très bruyante. Petit déj décevant car mal achalandé. Plus de croissants, chocolatines, etc à 8h00 le matin et jus d'orange quelconque. La vaisselles n'était pas très propre. Avons testé le restaurant un soir : carte assez basique type fish and chips et burgers. Belle carte de whiskies au bar.

Our first night at the hotel was great. Our room was located on the side of the hotel close to the pool area. The elevators in that area are a bit hard to find. There should be some sort of signage to guide guests. The room itself was very clean, warm, and spacious. We were asked to switch rooms on our second day at the hotel due to maintenance issues and we got a river view room! This room was also good however it felt much colder than the previous room, and the floor did creak a lot. Other than that though the room was good and had a nice view overlooking the river and castle. Breakfast was good! Lots of options to choose from. Have a bit of patience with the staff as it gets quite busy for breakfast but they’re super friendly and are trying their best. Dinner at the hotel could have been better. We had dinner twice at the hotel after a long day of touring. The first time my husband enjoyed his burger. I got the curry and the curry came out lukewarm/room temperature. I ate it anyways since I was so hungry. The second night I had the macaroni & cheese and some cheesy garlic bread that tasted wonderful. My husband did not like his meal which was the Balmoral chicken (he said the chicken was flavorless/bland). Staff are 10/10. All super friendly and made our stay enjoyable and comfortable!
