We stayed in an apartment…it could accommodate 6 people but was very poorly stocked from a self-catering point of view. The apartment is nice but was not equipped at all to accommodate 6 people…1 glass tumbler, 3 plates, 5 mugs, 2 spoons, 2 coffee pods…and on and on. Was disappointing to keep going over to reception to ask for basic things like glasses and a tea towel. Staff were helpful but for £500 a night I expect a well serviced apartment. The upstairs shower leaked spectacularly. The bed was not very comfortable. The location is spot on for walking down the river, across to the theatre and to so many nice restaurants. Overall, I had high hopes for the apartment but feel it was underwhelmed but over priced.

My wife and I have enjoyed a short break in Inverness and stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel .Great highland welcome and a great room ( number 4) with a panoramic view of the river. Room was spotless as was bathroom with a lovely bay window and two comfortable easy chairs to watch the world go by. The breakfast had a good selection which would cover all tasted.Staff very chatty and helpful. Great location with a 10 minute gentle stroll into centre of Inverness. Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for comfort and location. You will not be disappointed.

On the surface, this place looks lovely. It is in a good location by the river, and the bar looks good. Beyond reception, the decor is very dated. Our room was dark, smelt musty, and needed redecoration. The check in process was disappointing - we were sarcastically informed that we were still in the Highlands, and when we said we intended to walk around the loch a bit in the afternoon, were told that it would take a long time. Felt very off, and set a poor tone for our stay. Breakfast service was better, with a nice selection. We probably wouldn't return.

The rooms were outdated, the bathroom had condensation running down the walls and the floor was uneven. The only positive thing was the bed . There were no lifts and people with mobility issues struggled to get up the many stairs. The restaurant was extremely overpriced although they offered you a dinner deal which is a total rip off. Their accounting system seriously needs to be looked at as we were overcharged with no refund and lots of excuses. Would never stay there again.

We had a family celebration with 11 guests in the private dining room. Absolutely nothing was too much bother for the hotel team welcoming us , setting the room , assisting with the tech which was brilliant. The food was amazing and the service very attentive. They really couldn’t do enough for us. Even catering from ages 20-80+ everyone was happy. The setting on the River Ness is a great back drop photo opportunity.

What a gem of a hotel. Plenty of parking spaces available even though I checked in after 8pm. The hotel is large enough to have great facilities but small enough to provide a personal feel to the service provided. Warm greeting and easy check in on arrival. Very clean and comfortable room. En-suite was well provisioned and the shower was hot with plenty of pressure. The bed was comfortable and surprisingly large for a single bed. Tv could have been a little larger but that’s a very minor gripe. My room was warm but not too hot and everything worked. A well stocked bar downstairs, especially for whiskey or gin drinkers. The barman was very knowledgable regarding recommendations for drinks to try. Breakfast (veggie) was delicious. Lots of choice both on the buffet and the menu. Got a great price for a Sunday night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this charming hotel on the banks of the River Ness.

I've stayed in the Glenmoriston around half a dozen times, including rooms in the main building and the annex. It's always the first place I try to get a room when I'm heading to Inverness. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, the rooms are excellent, and I really enjoy the breakfasts. But one of the key reasons I love staying here is its location, 2 minutes walk from the city centre and a spacious car park.

Pros -Great location for Inverness centre -Spacious room -Fair price (was booked long in advance) Cons -Was noisy on Saturday night with venue hosting a party. -Loud noises from pipes when neighbouring rooms used their shower. -No safe or refrigerator in room.

Fabulous large room overlooking the River Ness. Helpful and efficient staff went out of their way to cater for my disabled husband. Wonderful breakfast and tasty Mothers Day lunch. All very reasonable considering the luxury and quality.
