I have stayed here many times. There are newer owners. 3 yrs. The property is very well.taken of. Staff super nice

It was a quick stop on the way for a quick business trip in the UP!
For reference, I generally stay at 3-4 star hotels. These rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, owners very friendly, beautiful setting a couple minutes, to a handful of minutes drive to everything you need in Iron River.
Reasonable continental breakfast offered.
Super cool guy who is a fish guide on site who will take you out and give you the experience of catching fish!
I love Michigan, and I loved this hotel!
Would love to stay again!

The owners were friendly and helpful, but the notices in the bedroom were made us feel "threatened"e.g an envelope worded to give a tip to the housekeeper who we never saw/ 3 towels with a notice that they were not to be used for bathing..why were they there?/ notice for the fee for damages to towels ..the one for 1bathtowel would pay for all decent towels in the room .
I would not stay here again.

Nice place to stay. The dock wasn’t out yet(too early) so hoping next time we come can enjoy that. Easy check in and check out. Very friendly owners. I asked for a fan and they got me just what I needed!! Look forward to returning.

Lakeshore Motel just keeps getting better and better. We have been coming here for years. We have ALWAYS enjoyed our stays, but our visits get better with every stay. Bonnie and Mike have made excellent improvements and continue to be wonderful hosts. We always appreciate them, and you will too.
