We didn't have a great start to our visit... Sat at a table outside, husband went in to get drinks and a menu only to be ordered out again, when he tried to explain where we were sat he was told someone would be out to take our order and to move as they weren't serving that part of the outside area. We waited and eventually a girl came out , gave us a couple of menus and disappeared to get our drinks. When she returned to take our order we were told what we wanted was only available at lunchtime?! Ten minutes later she came back to explain they didn't have my husband's choice, could be pick something else? He did and she went away only to come back with the bill. My husband paid but I queried the price. She couldn't give us a full receipt to show what we had been charged but would speak to the manager. Ten minutes later she returns. The manager is still looking into the bill and wanted to see if I wanted to choose a different meal as my chicken was still frozen. Initially I asked to see the menu again but stated this was getting silly we had been waiting quite a while now. Are you going to order something as we are busy she replied. I had lost patience now, my daughter was understandably complaining she was hungry and I really didn't have any confidence we would ever get food! We said we were leaving and she sauntered off to get the manager to sort out our refund. When the manager came out he sat down and with no apology said I'll sort your bill out but I really can't give you the chicken as it will make you very ill. I explained i wasn't interested in him serving me anything. We got a refund eventually , paid for our drinks and ate elsewhere. My husband said the manager did apologise eventually and blamed the poor girl for the massive overcharge on our bill. It was a shambles.
