Sat there for 3 hrs just to eat 2 courses and we’d had to prompt them at every point! However, food was good."

"The hotel is currently being renovated and the price reflected this. We had no issues with noise, etc. The building is absolutely stunning. The ensuite double room we had (room 4) above the front door had amazing views through the stunning window. It had it's own quirkiness - sloping floor, fire place, high ceilings. Unfortunately due to the work being done the bar/restaurant was closed, however there are plenty of places to eat and drink in Ironbridge. We can recommend the Swan Taphouse, opposite the Museum of the Gorge. We look forward to returning to see the transformation and to enjoy another lovely stay."

"Absolutely wonderful. The decore and facilities are exceptional - very tasteful and the room was well stocked - especially with lovely cake! Julie the host was a gem and could not have looked after our needs better. We had a lovely couple of days - unfortunately I did not check the opening times of the local museums etc. and until the end of March they do not open Monday and Tuesday so we missed out. However I would recommend this facility wholeheartedly - really a gem of a place."
