The Malthouse

"Room was dirty awful musty damp smell cold. Cobwebs everywhere. Bathroom floor dirty sills ant top of tiles not been wiped. Sink dirty mirror surround/ had stains toothpaste? Shower grouting mouldy. Undersink filthy. Bedside light not working bulb flickering. Windows dirty behind doors cobwebs and dirt. Bulbs missing from ceiling light. Ceilings in corners cobwebs skirtings and around sockets dirty. It just hadn't been cleaned prior to our stay ! I was sneezing and could smell damp. Very unhealthy! Entrance to building dirty. Not ready for guests! Needs painting and maintenance . My sisters room was just as bad tv not working shower disgusting. Sink blocked plug would not come back up! Their bed was made next day but that was it room not cleaned ! Not teas and sugars etc topped up. Tv still not working . We're told it was working the night before! ! Had to keep pressing source button on the tv itself! Take your money and that's it. Never attempted to clean my room for second night. One stayed as everywhere was booked up. !"

Bridgeside Rooms

"Exceptional room with private facilities, very bespoke , did not want to leave , wow, clean modern , airy , bright , and within walking distance of the great ironbridge, staff very professional.value for money , I stayed in the courtyard room , very quiet and unusually detached from other rooms . Very quite tranquil ."

The Swan Taphouse

"First impression count, on arrival very unkempt outside a huge pile of old mattresses in the carpark. Entering the pub a young man whilst pleasant was no able to answer are questions. The room was very much in need of some serious upgrade. Metal bed which creaked at every movement. The toilet cistern ran continually. The shower overthe bath had no overhead bracket you had to sit on bathside and shower as best you could. Not easy for us pensioner's. Everywhere was grubby paint chipped. Having to walk to Sister Hotel for breakfast. The food was OK but obviously cheaper ingredients HD been used. Young staff who didn't have much idea. All in all a poor accommodation experience. Ironbridge was very Interesting and we would come back to the area. However the Swan is a definite non return."

Ye Olde Robin Hood Inn

"Great value, friendly staff, good location. For the money, an excellent short notice choice. Shame we picked a night when there was no food, but a short walk into Ironbridge got us a choice of restaurants. "

"Highly recommended. Jules is a very friendly and welcoming host - her breakfasts are delicious! Little extras - like gluten-free cake - make Heritage View a specialplace to stay. Try to book the Captain Webb room for a view of the bridge."

"Was disappointed to be publicly humiliated for eating pastries from next door while having a drink here, while others was there eating their own sandwiches and wasn’t told they couldn’t, first outing out with my 3 week old was ruined, note please come and have a private word and not shout at us across others.
