繁華街から離れていて川平湾がすぐ近くなので石垣島西部を回るのは混雑する前にあらかた訪問できます。 おかみさんが非常に明るくてエネルギッシュなので滞在していて元気をもらえました。 周囲には食堂がありますが予約必須です。 また買い出しも近くにおばーが店番をしているお店もありますが種類が豊富とは言えません。 今回は素泊まりでの宿泊で、食事は自分達での調達でしたが食事をつけてもいいかもしれません。 宿は廊下から部屋から掃除が行き届いていました。

The owners are incredibly friendly and so helpful. The rooms and communal spaces are incredibly clean and welcoming in a lovely traditional japanese style.

Joya is a great place to stay in Kabira - simple but clean and friendly. We had a warm and friendly welcome by the owner, and the room was very spacious for our family. Several restaurants around for dinner but limited grocery store, so make sure you shop in Ishigaki before reaching the place (unless you have a car)

久しぶりの宿泊でした。川平での常宿です。コロナ禍の最中に客室をリニューアルされていて、畳も琉球畳風でイグサのにおいかして良かった。
室内も綺麗でした。
ただ一つ気になったのが、以前 室内にあったタオル干し用のラックが無かったので不便でした。
その他はほぼ満足でした。

少し古めかしいホテルですが、とても清潔感があって、フロントの方の対応もとても親切です。
また川平湾付近の観光地やお店へのアクセスも良いです。
部屋着はないので持参必須ですね。
