Very friendly and attentive staff nice and historical area. The juice bar in reception is great! Very clean flat so close to the city centre calm and peaceful area highly recommended I would definitely come back to this cosy hotel again and hope the WIFI is improved. I loved Istanbul and balat.

This place was great, in great location. Room was nice an clean. We get loads of help from host, he helped us to arrange a transport on the airport and from. Everything was perfect. We truly recommend Balat House

This was an amazing experience!! If you want to go to a nice, warm and local café in Estambul, definitely this is the place. (Its also a hotel) We think it’s a family owned place due to the warmth of their attention towards us. The details of the the place, the flavor of their teas and coffee make you feel like you are in a real Turkish home. Bid kudos to their homemade mosaic cake (A MUST) Don’t leave without having a taste of it. Definitely recommend this for your Estambul itinerary.

Friendly staff, the rooms are clean and they take care of everything. I liked the location of the hotel very much access to everything comfortably, the main thing is security, there was no question mark in my head about this, you can stay comfortably in there

Ekonomik, fiyat performans oteli. Paranızın hakkını verecek kalite ve hizmeti alacaksınız. Oda temiz, yatakları rahat, personel güleryüzlü ve en önemlisi internet hızı yüksekti :))Bölgede ziyaret edilecek oldukça fazla yer mevcut. Vaktinizi kaliteli geçireceğiniz bir adres.

Excelente lugar para sent**** a tomar un café, un té o comerse un postre, probamos el postre tradicional de chocolate con galletas y estaba muy rico, la amabilidad de los dueños fue lo ir más nos gusto a mis amigos y a mi, y el punto más importante es que es muy económico. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Balat Residence and Cafe is a great place to stay while your in Turkey. This location feels like home and everything is near by . The best part about this place was the host his co worker and his family. I stay at this location with my wife and 5 year old son for another 2 weeks. Rasim (host) made us feel very comfortable from the first minute we reached there. His coworker went out of his way to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Rasim helped us with everything and made us feel safe and treated us like a family. What I will be forever grateful for is that.. When we went on Pereme Nights Show and crusie we got haggled and ripped off for 2 photo albums which I paid 3 xs more than the average person. Rasim went out of his way to get me back half of my refund which he didn't have too!! I was soo please with yhe hospitality that we recieved and the best part was his father:) amazing man and his coworker was just as great! The bond an friendship that was built will last a lifetime. If anyone goes to Turkey and make sure to stay at the Balat Residence .

Mon amie et moi avons passé un agréable séjour dans l’auberge de Rassim située au cœur du quartier Balat. Rassim et son collègue Mashallah sont très chaleureux et serviables. Vous trouverez de nombreux cafés, restaurants & boutiques dans les environs de l’auberge, laquelle dispose aussi d’une boutique au rez-de-chaussée. Si vous aimez marcher, vous pourrez vous rendre dans le quartier historique (Topkapi, Ste Sophie, etc.) en 50mn. Vous pourrez également vous y rendre facilement en transport en commun/taxi. Nous recommandons d’y passer une ou deux nuits pour profiter de Balat et de son ambiance.
