Arges Old City Hotel

In pieno centro comodissimo a tutte le attrazioni vicinisso al mercato delle erbe e al Gran Bazar!! Personale gentile , l'entrata è a fianco al negozio di bigiotteria della signora che ci ha donato un portachiavi e calamita. Camere ampie e pulite: ogni giorno venivano rifatte.Noi alloggiavamo al 5°piano..fortuna che c'é l'ascensore. Avevamo anche l'auto che con 10€ al giorno c'è la parcheggiavano sulla strada custodendola...

1. The first and most important thing is the hostess Ece and her attitude towards us. I have been working in hotels (chain and non-chain) for more than 7 years and nowhere in the world have I met such a reverent attitude towards guests. Energetic and smiling Ece made our whole holiday! From check-in with the cutest souvenirs as a gift to check-out, during which only my husband managed to hold back tears)). And what a surprise she gave me for my birthday! I have never received such congratulations. "Make yourself at home!" - with these words, acquaintance began, and this feeling did not leave us all the rest. This is aerobatics. Thank you so much Ece for your kind heart and care!!! We will definitely recommend to all our friends and come back ourselves. 2. The location is excellent, near the tram, the embankment with Vapurs, the railway station, the Egyptian market, Sultanahmet. This is my second time in Istanbul. The location of this hotel is 5 out of 5! Around the corner is the best tea house with very tasty cuisine, low non-tourist prices, amazing and honest owners. We ate there almost every day. Ece will tell you 3. The room is spacious and can accommodate 4 adults. Excellent wi-fi (I work remotely, I really appreciate it). There is a kitchenette, kettle, refrigerator, dishes. Perfect white linens and towels! Frequent cleaning. We even asked to come less often. So why clean every day? :) From the bathroom, the window overlooks the city and the minaret of the neighboring mosque - it's very cool to wake up from the azan. By the way! On the 6th floor there is a cool terrace, where we have never seen any of the guests! We took tea and stuck on Istanbul at night (you can see the Galata Tower, bridges) 4. A very cool and authentic elevator :) I will soon publish a video review of the room and the route around Istanbul on my Instagram @trashotka but for us it is not critical. Anyway, most often they came to the room late at night, just to sleep :)
