I booked 5 nights at this hotel. I told them in a confirmation email I would be arriving at 1:00 AM Wednesday morning. So I booked my room from Tuesday night to Sunday morning. 5 nights. When I arrived, I was told that no room was available, but they would be happy to have me stay at their sister hotel, Grand Esen. So one of the porters and I walked along Hudavendigar Street at 1:30 AM to get me to this absolute hole of a hotel Grand Esen. My room was so small there was almost no room to walk around the bed. There were no towels or pillows. The next day I returned to Ersu and finished my stay. Now I found out they scam late arriving foreign tourists all the time. They charge you 70 Euro but send you to a 30 euro hotel and pocket the difference. The old Ersu was classy and honest. The new Ersu management, Russian owner, is probably unaware the young man at the front desk does this scam. Beware.

Good value hotel in great position for many attractions. Good out door space. Room very clean . Breakfast has plenty of choice and was refreshed on request. Didn’t use the spar so cannot comment. Lift for this with mobility issues. Able to open window definite plus

The positive reviews of this place are INEXPLAINABLE! The hygienic and cleanliness conditions are absolutely unacceptable. Small, cramped room, smurf wardrobe, very small bed with a creaking base (impossible to sleep). Unspeakable sheets and towels. Bathroom microscopic and full of mold, the soap looked like the one used to wash the bodywork of the car, shower head that you had to pray so that it wouldn't come down. I swear that at 4 in the morning there was a couple who started arguing, shouting as if she were going to be flayed at any moment... Breakfast was watched and skipped together to avoid risking intestinal problems. On the other hand, the understanding staff. Be careful because they handle money in cash so as not to let you pass through the booking platforms.

I was with a friend. We lived in an economy room. The room is very nicely decorated, there is everything you need, hair dryer, towels, slippers, soap accessories (shampoo, gel) in dispensers. There was a kettle and glasses, but you can drink tea, water and drinks throughout the day in the lounge where breakfast is served. I liked the breakfasts. Traditionally cheeses, olives, French fries, eggs, a couple of salads and pastries. We stayed for 5 nights and had the room cleaned three times, even changing bed linen and towels. The room was very warm, which is important in December. There is an elevator. Among the shortcomings of the hotel: poor sound insulation. The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a tram stop nearby. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance. There was a problem with electricity, we contacted the reception, everything was quickly resolved.
