Hotel helped us to arrange the transport from hotel to Istanbul airport which was really good. Location in middle of tourist hub isn’t a great idea if you want peace and quiet and most cabs want to overcharge you even on Uber they will accept the call then negotiate in chat. Also very hilly, good luck if you intend to walk since cabs will be jammed in traffic. Hotel is very old but service staff are very good.

One of the most beautiful places to stay in Istanbul. We were very pleased. The location couldn't be better. The terrace is magnificent.

The café at the entrance detracts from the hotel style. Only the front rooms have good views. The rest are dark and dreary. Decor needs a refresh. Shower needs maintenance to control and eliminate mould. Only one small bottle of water is complimentary; thise in the fridge are charged to your account.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The bottom of Galata Tower. The view from the roof bar and restaurant is indescribable. The room smells of history. There is no parking or valet service. You walk through the influx of tourists coming to the tower, and the hotel is a liberated area. There is a cellar and restaurant downstairs for wine lovers.

Despite my deluxe reservation of 18 square meters, I was given a non-delux room.
