This is an excellent, small, family-style boutique hotel within a 4 minute-walk of the Blue Mosque. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. What impressed me the most was the staff communication before arrival. Front desk staff member, Nima answered all of my questions via email, helped with transport and site visits, and even organised a tour guide (who was very knowledgeable about Turkish history) to show us the key historical sites for two days. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were extremely attentive even cooking us omelettes to our personal tastes, and the view across the ocean while dining was amazing. Our bedroom, while not large, was spacious enough for two people, very clean and cosy with a home-style feel. There is a lift to all three residential levels. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was suitably heated for winter in Turkey. I am a little biased as I like small friendly hotels with a sense of history, and in this respect, the Dersaadet was a perfect place to stay. In fact, we will stay here again next year.

The staff were very kind and friendly and I never had a bad experience.
The location is great, just a short walk to Hagia Sophia, but it's a bit local and quiet.
Every breakfast is delicious at the rooftop restaurant,
Moreover, it is the best in that area where you can see Hagia Sophia from the sea!
Recommended for rabbits.
It was a little cold during our stay, so we asked them to leave the heater in the Turkish Bath section on, so it was super comfortable with warm floor heating!

Charming hotel with unbeatable rooftop views with complimentary breakfast buffet. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location with main sights in short walking distance. Front desk staff could not have been more accommodating for every single thing we needed. They went above and beyond to arrange tours and taxi rides. Their service was A+. I would definitely stay here again.

Es ist ein sehr schönes, kleines, gemütliches Hotel in der Altstadt. Wir waren bereits das 3.Mal im Dersaadet Hotel und wir freuen uns bereits vorher schon auf das herrliche weiche Bett. Das gesamte Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit, sehr schöne Gespräche an der Rezeption geführt. Das Frühstück, auch außen auf Terrasse bei schönem Wetter möglich, ist ein Highlight,super Ausblick auf die Einfahrt in Bosporus. Essen lecker, liebevolle Betreuung durch Murat und Gürhan. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Fußläufig in 10 min. auf Sultanahmet Platz, Hagia Sophia, mit Straßenbahn super Verbindung zur Metro und Fähre.
