Great location and very welcoming. In fact, I stayed in a B&B in the building next to the hotel because the hotel room was too dark. The disadvantage is that the stairs are narrow, there is no elevator, and it is too inconvenient to carry suitcases

This is the most friendly and welcoming hostel I've stayed in so far! The team are happy to help with everything and they do evening dinners which are a great way to meet other people, especially when travelling solo. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a terrace with lovely views of the city where you can enjoy the evening.

It's really a wonderful experience. I stay in second home hotel for four days with my family. I got the welcome tea. The boss there is so nice and they helped me so much. I really appreciate it.

It was an amazinnnng stay. Every good sightseeing place is near here. They have a dinner every night which is delicious and they have an amazing rooftop which is a nice view and the staff amazing. And and and I don’t know that what should I say :)

The hostel has a convenient location and central to main attractions near the Old City, there is a great homely atmosphere and vibe! Second time stay at Second Home hostel! Breakfast and supper is served everyday. Aleena’s Chocolate Brownie cake was amazing!

An incredible hostel, with shared dinners in a family atmosphere every evening, home-cooked by the incredible staff! Typically Turkish meals, balanced and delicious. The Club-crawls organized by Semira are also a dream for anyone wanting to discover and enjoy the Nightlife of Istanbul 💃

A very well located hostel with a pleasant rooftop. The staff is great, they are always available, smiling and super kind. I spent a week in this hostel and I can truly say that it was like a second home. Thanks to everyone. I also recommend the evening meal, excellent and very friendly. Looking forward to coming back.

Second home hostel is warm and friendly, and exactly like the name: it’s like coming home. I had the most wonderful time and met amazing people. The staff was very welcoming and took us out to Princes Island and other trips :) We got a lot of useful and nice recommendations for both sides of Istanbul! The dinner is amazing, big shoutout to the rice that’s special and marvelous every single night! We had a dance party in the common room downstairs and played fun games on the rooftop terrace. There is even a pub crawl for the party people 🕺🏽🕺🏽 I was staying here one year ago and I loved staying there again. Would recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. The location is also very nice, near the old centre and near all kinds of public transport (tram, bus, ferry). It was a wonderful stay. Thank you 🧡
