The overall experience was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The manager responded quickly and efficiently to requests before and after arrival. We had a specific request for someone to collect an item on our behalf before we arrived, which the manager had arranged, and the article was waiting for us on our arrival, saving us a lot of worry. The breakfast was really good, with a selection of freshly-made local dishes, both hot and cold. In an excellent location, this is overall a place to be recommended.

We have just returned from Istanbul and I can only recommend the Atam Hotel. Berat organized our airport transfer, convenient and very reasonably priced. Then on arrival, a very warm welcome with all the explanations and little tips. The room was spacious for our family. Nice decoration and clean. Housekeeping done every day (unless you don't want to). The bathroom is OK, I expected it to be smaller given some comments but it is more than sufficient. Breakfast is served in the basement. There is everything, with sugar and salty, which is appreciated when you don't eat too much salty food. The breakfast lady (I forgot her first name 🙏🙏) is very kind but like the whole family who takes turns being at reception 24 hours a day. For families with children, you can leave the stroller in the lobby. The hotel is on a quiet street with a small grocery store a few meters away to buy water for example. In short, I very highly recommend the ATAM hotel. We will come back on our next stay for sure!!

We were attracted to this hotel due to its excellent ratings but we had to think again. Noisy room next to the lift behind the narrow reception. In the room a very small TV very far from the bed (impossible to see). Shower leaking and flooding the small bathroom. Daily cleaning but not thorough. Breakfast served practically in a typically Turkish cellar (abundant but not satisfying). Positive note is the central location and the parking in front of the hotel

Does not match the photos posted here at all. Spent the night here with my husband and son. The reception employee was friendly, but I had to insist on parking because I needed a decent space for my car because I was passing through. Kettle was super dirty inside, I immediately received a brand new one out of the packaging. There was coffee/tea and sugar. The apar**ent was very noisy when other residents walked in the stairwell. Beds are not comfortable at all, pillows were very hard. Location was perfect, everything was within walking distance. Not worth repeating for me. For that price I expected a little more

We feel lucky to have found this hotel in a great location in Sultanahmet, a three minute walk from either the Blue Mosque or the shore of the Bosporus on a quiet side street. The surrounding area is filled with traditional and colorful houses and countless restaurants and boutiques. Our host Ziya was very helpful in our arrival and departure and was ready to attend to every need. The local SIM card the hotel provided was a better deal than I was able to find at the shops. It was a perfect place to base ourselves for a first time exploration of Istanbul, a new addition to my top five cities I have ever visited.
