Fantastic location, walkable to all the main sights in the old town. Simple, but tasty buffet breakfast.

Little place within good walking distance.
Breakfast is small but has everything you need to start the day. Is hot and cut up fresh so no complaints from us.
The room is small, we knew this before booking by pictures. The room looks as per picture supplied by motel. Happy for that.
Front reception has a lot of man hanging around. We tried to ask about a tour but felt overwhelmingly with so many . Booked down the road is a lot of agents close by
was a perfect land and sleep of jet lag place. Cost low but needed to get over two days on a plane before starting our 15 day tour.
Looks as if the roof terrace is being worked on so no doubt will be finished when the next person stays..

The surfaces of the room were dirty. The linen had holes in some of it. The beds squeaked and the walls were thin. There was a water leak in our room, luckily on the day we were checking out. The staff were nice and the breakfast was decent. You get what you pay for.

I liked that the administrators speak Russian very well (the guy at the reception said that he studied at the university in Moscow). Our window from the room overlooked the Sea of Marmara (Bosphorus), the room was small, relatively clean, the batteries were hot, the bathroom was clean. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, Topkapi are 500 meters from the hotel. In the mornings there were breakfasts - eggs, cheese, sausage and some vegetables, bread, tea, coffee. The location of the hotel is perfect, the very energy of old Istanbul seemed very heavy, loaded for sleep…

The hotel is down a loooong hill, to Get to Sultan Ahmet and restaurants etc you have to walk up that terrible hill. The hotel is old, shabby and in terrible condition, we rented the suite with view to the streets and mosque, but we couldnt use the balcony because the whole curtains-system fell down then. The breakfast is simplest version i have seen in Istanbul, down in the basement. Fridge smells bad, the shower is often out of water so at evening you cant shower, the pillows too hard, tv not working anything Else than football-channels, basically old and dirty room that could have Been so much Nicer if they fixed the broken things and upgraded a bit. We payed one week but left after sleeping there just 3 nights. Sad for the Sweet guy from Sri Lanka working there, he is so polite and Nice but not a magician so he cant fix all the broken things.

I was staying in the hotel for a week....during the check-in it was amazing meeting the friendly staff in reception and the hotel..I was up grade and giving see sea....the food in the restaurant ika was soo amazing,room where clean....thank you John ,rogiand faith for your help in my inter saty

Para resumir: En la vida volvería a alojarme allí. El hotel está superviejo y descuidadísimo. La habitación que nos tocó (la 303) prometía ser increíble viendo las fotos, y fue todo lo contrario, horrible. Como ejemplo, la iluminación es muy deficiente (la lámpara que hay en el techo apenas da luz), casi no sale agua de los grifos del baño, en ningún momento vino nadie a limpiar la habitación, y en alguna ocasión incluso tuvimos que pedir que nos cambiasen las toallas, porque no lo habían hecho. Además, tanto la habitación como el hotel en general no se veían precisamente limpios. Por otra parte, en el desayuno no había casi variedad donde elegir, y la máquina de café no tuvo cacao ninguno de los días, e incluso alguno de ellos tampoco había café.
