Emirhan Inn Hotel & Suites

Great location. Literally everything within walking distance. Room in fine condition. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned once. No towels or sheets changed or the bathroom cleaned. A real shame. Had to walk to another building on another street for breakfast. Breakfast was fine and extensive. Typical Turkish breakfast. Delicious.

A good little hotel, or rather an apart-hotel. The location is excellent, a quiet street, and 2 minutes away there are cafes, shops, ATMs. It's also close to sights on foot. The staff is very friendly. They cleaned up, like, every other day. Breakfast is typical for Istanbul (omelet, coffee/tea, sandwiches). We have our own taxi with a fixed price to the airport.

I also booked this hotel after reading the mountain of fantastic reviews on this property. If you adapt and luckily I do too, obviously it's fine but after many trips abroad being told that in a hotel "...they don't make up the rooms because someone doesn't want you to come in when you're not there". ., I would say that it is the first and I hope also the last time that this happens to me!!! at least they could have asked us first whether we agreed or not... because it is really unpleasant to return in the evening after a tiring day's excursion and find the room as unpacked as you left it in the morning. So after requesting daily cleaning, they just made the bed... among other things with only the bottom sheet, super short and therefore you ended up sleeping directly on the mattress!! Furthermore, with the very small bathroom and no windows, the towels remained damp every day...luckily we only stayed for 4 nights... There is no question about the reception staff, they were very kind and helpful, really, and to go back to the airport they booked a taxi for us which cost us, between us, half of the transfer booked on arrival with another agency. They are thoughtful and kind and then they sin on the management of rooms etc.... In the small room the breakfast was quite abundant but as it was "communication and transit" between the two buildings the door to the internal courtyard was always open and therefore you had to dress warm... and it is a bit annoying that the person who takes care of breakfast is always there , just outside staring and smoking… The location is excellent, very convenient to the main monuments of Sultanahmet… but if I were to return I would look for something better…

In Sultanhamet, a quarter of an hour's walk from the Blue Mosque, this structure immersed in a network of streets capable of immediately making you appreciate the real Istanbul, offers - in addition to comfortable and clean rooms - a remarkable breakfast at a reasonable price. really content. Attentive and very kind staff, a full and never just formal welcome, make the unique experience that the city can offer even more pleasant. Passed with full marks!

I booked based on the over 540 excellent reviews of this hotel. After spending 4 nights there I have serious doubts whether they are all real. There is no question about the kindness of the reception, because they are young and very helpful guys. But about the rest… The rooms are extremely spartan, towels are changed only if specifically requested. Cleaning definitely not daily. They only make the bed, which doesn't have a real sheet but a sort of bedspread/towel (not even clean) and you have to place it on the bed when you arrive. A single bedside table and a mini wardrobe where there is not enough space for two people's clothes. The bathroom was very small and without a window, the water in the sink ran slowly, it was impossible to wash your face or brush your teeth (we had to use the shower!!!) The monotonous breakfast was served in a narrow room, with an attendant who he stands just outside the window staring at what you do. A bottle of water already opened and filled with tap water is placed on the breakfast tables. The view from our room was something terrifying (I attach photos) and I wonder how they can talk about sea view... and above all refer to SUITE!!! The only positive notes, in addition to the kindness of the reception, is the location close to the monumental area with the most famous attractions, Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi. For the rest, really, no one believes that this hotel can have such a high rating and all excellent reviews. I highly doubt whether they wrote them themselves (also evident from the use of the translator which demonstrates several errors). Go there if you fit, but there is absolutely better in Sultanahmet!!
