Just great! Great location, clean, good polite staff, nice breakfast. The room is furnished in an interesting historical traditional style. We requested a room for non-smokers, it was given, no smell of smoking was felt at all.

I am not the kind of person likes to leave reviews unless really been annoyed or satisfied. But Garden House is doing a good job.
They straightaway upgraded my room and the staffs are all very helpful and polite.
Location is closed to the old town and walking distance from Blue mosque. Most of the famous tourism sites are walkable. Only thing is the neighbourhood is not for night life. If you are looking for night clubs or bars mostly on the other side of the bridge.
Room is clean and functional. Very good deal for the price. The garden restaurant setup and music is lovely and reminds me mid-century RPG game. And you have to try their breakfast which is so colourful and healthy.

A perfectly located hotel with a team of staff who from the moment you arrive, make you feel both special and at home. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the amenities that you need. We had a balcony room which I highly recommend, and enjoyed our evenings having a I’m drink on our balcony before eating in the restaurant in the garden/ courtyard below. The restaurant is excellent and frequented by many people who are not hotel residents ( as well as residents) so I highly recommend booking. Altogether an excellent choice of hotel and a perfect hotel from which to enjoy all the sights that Sultanhamet and the whole of Istanbul have to offer.

Very friendly greeting, lovely man at reception who spoke excellent English. Beautiful room, nice breakfast and perfect location to explore the Golden Horn area. Room very comfortable with air conditioning. Quiet and slept very well.

It feels like the hotel needs more attention and repairs. Some stuff is old, like towels in the bathroom, some works unstable, like toilet flush, some is broken, like window handles. Personnel is very kind though. The restaurant in the garden is very convenient and popular. Nice hotel overall.

What an absolute gorgeous hotel. You would never think that you were staying in the heart of Istanbul whilst staying at the Garden House Hotel.
This hotel is ideally located close to the the blue mosque, grand bazaar (which is a unique experience to visit)and many more places of interest.
The room that we stayed had a small balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard, the room was decorated in a traditional Turkish style and was spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfy. We had breakfast included with our stay which was lovely, with plenty to chose from.
The staff at the hotel were really lovely, and helped us out when we had problems with getting our boarding passes, nothing was too much trouble for them.
We decided that we wanted to go on a boat trip during our stay, the hotel offered us information on this and we booked half a day trip which was €50 each, I would highly recommend this trip as it’s a great way to see more of Istanbul, and really interesting.
Overall I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
