I will never forget the wonderful time I had at Raymond Hotel. I was really pleased with the hotel's comfortable rooms, wonderful view and welcoming staff. Its location was also very practical as it was close to the city center. I would definitely like to visit again!

If you go to the terrace of a modest hotel within walking distance of the touristic places of Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia, you will encounter a magnificent view of Istanbul. Mr. Abdullah helped us a lot, I would like to thank him also.

This hotel is in a great location and good value for money. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean and spacious rooms. Compares better then some 4star hotels. Recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget.

Hotel is perfectly situated -minute walk to tram station, couple of minutes downhill to Eminonu, or a nearrest supermarket (Greens, uphill walk), tiny shop/kiosk literally across the street and lots of dining options of all price ranges (Balkan Lokantasi was our favorite). Staff members were really nice, especially receptionist, (sorry I didnt catch your name :) ) Lovely breakfast, clean room.

It is excellent hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful, I wish to book there again if I visited Istanbul. You can do PCR there for travel. Rooms are small but tidy and clean I recommend anyone to book it as I liked it very much And if you are going to book room, choose the double one or city view

Located in a quiet area but very convenient for getting around, 10 minutes walk from the blue mosque and the grand bazaar, in a short walk you can also reach the Taxsim area which is very chaotic and full of shops. The hotel was cleaned every day, friendly staff, room a little small but overall it was fine. The breakfast is a bit poor, you find a lot of savory Turkish things and not much for Europeans, however it was very good for the price paid.

Cons: (1) Shower is very small. So small you can barely stretch your arms. About 1.5 sqm! (2) Shower water leaks all over the tiny bath room. (3) Bathroom is tiny. Barely stretch your arms (4) Room is tiny. No space to put the luggage of a couple. (5) Bed is very hard. (6) Bed is too small for a couple (7) Very noisy - street noise and noise of other rooms. One can hear conversations. (8) Lift is not always functioning. Which means some poor hotel staff have to carry heavy luggage up and down the steps. (9) Location is terrible: it is so crowded that no taxi would want to take you to anywhere else such as Fatih. No Uber taxi would want to come. Better to chose another area in Istanbul to stay in and just make it a day trip to see the historial sites. The food and services are over priced and just poor. Poor food, poor sleep - a tourist trap!

It is a very small hotel, quite important due to its geographical location, right in the center close to all amenities and all public transport (tram, metro, ferry, marmaray). The staff is very friendly, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. The room is very narrow but it doesn't matter if you only come in to sleep. Only one remark that I wanted to make concerning the cleaning lady who does not clean the room well at all the dust remained throughout the stay the water glasses never changed or washed she did not replace the tea and coffee used the only thing that she was doing the floor and changing the sheets and towels. Here I hope it will improve on this side.

Nice hotel, clean and inexpensive. There are basically only other hotels and attractions around. The workers are very nice and polite, including the Russian-speaking Azad. There is a lift for luggage, which many budget hotels in this area (Fatih) do not have. Quiet as there is no view from the window. Beautiful lamps. Minus: one of the towels had a hole.
