Very well situated. Walking almost everywhere. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. People working there very nice and helpful. A bit noisy as our room has views to the street. A good price comparing with other hotels. I will repeat I'd I ever go again to Istanbul

Convenient to so many shopping and dining possibilities. Just a block or two from the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople AND the 'small' Hagia Sophia mosque. Very friendly and accomodating staff; always handled questions and requests promptly and courteously. Three minor issues: 1.) We could not turn off either the heated towel rack in the bathroom nor the floor heat in the entranceway. 2.) No washcloths/facecloths provided (could not find any in local shops, so maybe they don't exist in Turkey?). 3.) Water bottles sometimes replaced by housekeeping, sometimes not. Same with Shower Gel empty containers. Still... we would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. High value for money.

The hotel is not a 5* venue, but is friendly, clean and gives a truly authentic Turkish vibe. I'm sure that in its price bracket you wont find better. We loved it. We had a superior double room with a fantastic balcony with views over the Sea of Marmara. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast sets you up for the day. A really short walk (uphill) to the hippodrome where you will find the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Also the tram line to explore the rest of Istanbul. We would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return!

Начну свой отзыв с того, что я из России и забронировать номер стало проблематично. Однако списавшись с отелем договорились об оплате наличными на месте. Заказывала трансфер от и до аэропорта и не пожалела ни разу. Ехали с мужем вдвоем в минивэне, с комфортом доехали) В отеле Соколу Паша очень приветливый персонал. Во всем стараются угодить. Русскоязычного персонала нет. По приезду на ресепшене нам на карте все показали, рассказали куда можно сходить и что посмотреть. Сам отель хоть и не большой, но очень милый, колоритный, уютный. Восточная сказка. Я бронировала номер с балконом и видом на мраморное море. Номер просторный, чистый. Удобная кровать, на которой я выспалась) Халаты, тапочки, в мини баре вода, в ванной - гели, шампуни и тд. Прекрасный вид с балкона на малую Айя-Софию и море! Единственное что бы хотелось улучшить в номере - это освещение, мне как то не хватало света в вечернее время дня. Завтраки. Кто-то писал, что нечего есть… я такого не наблюлала. Мы с мужем наедались. Омлет, яйцо вареное, сосиски, картошка фри, выпечка, тосты, 2 вида колбас, 4 вида сыра, 2 вида фруктов, печенье, пирог, овощи свежие, закуски, зелень, йогурт, джемы, хлопья, соки, 4 вида оливок. Все очень вкусно. А чай или кофе приносят официанты. Расположение отеля так же весьма удачно- минут 7-10 и вы уже на площади Ипподром, ну и от туда до достопримечательностей рукой подать. Если бы спросили , вернусь ли я в этот отель? Однозначно- ДА!

We stayed together with friends for a few days. The location is great, in walking distance off the famous Sultanahmet square, the Ayasofia and lot more.. The room is very clean with comfortable bed . The breakfast is various and fresh. Mehmet at the reception is very kind and polite , we had such fun with him.Also a compliment for Fatih at the restaurant. We sure recommend everyone to stay at this lovely hotel. Thanks for everything. See you next time!❤️

Top Hotel!!! We've been there 6 times and it will always be our go-to place for a trip to Istanbul. We stayed in the standard room, hammam room with whirlpool and in the room with balcony. All rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable beds. We were often accompanied by family and they were also enthusiastic about the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offering is varied and very tasty. The breakfast room is cozy and when the weather is good you can eat outside in the lovingly designed courtyard. Many sights are within walking distance. The tram is also about 5 minutes away on foot and you can easily and quickly take the tram to other sights or even for example. at the ferry pier on the Bosphorus. We can highly recommend the hotel.

Our first time in Istanbul, so we chose a BA holiday, and hence this hotel. What a pleasure, both to be in such a great location and to find such a gem nestled in the heart of it. The hotel is small, like most other independent hotels in the Ancient district, but that allows for friendly, more personal customer service. Our en-suite room was basic but very clean and comfortable (which is all we need when we're out exploring all the time!). The buffet breakfast offered a mix of Turkish and Mediterranean foods, with fabulous coffee (of course)! No dinner is available, but it sits right next door to an excellent and affordable restaurant, Garden 1897. The hotel's split-level garden was a great place to 'take tea' in the afternoons, Turkish style, and offered a quiet space amidst the hustle and bustle on the streets. As for location, it really was a great choice. Just a few minutes walk will take you to places such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace and (our favourite place) Basilica Cistern. A 15-20 minutes walk will get you to the Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar, and to the river for the ferries. Cannot say enough about the staff. Virtually all had excellent English, and were able to offer as much advice as we needed; plus, booking things for us such as an evening dinner cruise on the Bosphorous. The clincher, however, had to be the surprise of the British themed leather sofa, what can I say ? ;-)
