I always upgrade my room and never downgrade it. This hotel is so bad that I changed to another one. The facilities and environment are downgraded by more than one level.

The room is very clean and should be newly renovated. There is only one plug and two USB ports at the bedside. You must bring an adapter when you come to Turkey. The hotel does not provide adapters. The room I slept in had no quilt, only two thin blankets. It was so cold. The bath water wasn't hot either, it was very cold. The room does not provide mineral water, toothpaste, toothbrush, paper towels, and sandals. The bathroom has paper towels, towels and bath towels. Have to climb stairs. Spiral staircase. Not soundproof. Remember to lock the door. Not a smart card door lock.

The strong point is the location very close to the Blue Mosque Aua Sofia grand bazaar and the T1 tram line stop. The room was not very clean but acceptable. Four of us were given a solution with a bedroom (Latvian comfortable pillows) and a living room with sofa and kitchen. Dated but spacious bathroom. The mostly savory breakfast without milk with the possibility of making cappuccino or coffee from the machines at the reception (free at breakfast time). Young and mostly friendly staff

Good points: very friendly receptionists, speak English, offer reliable transportation to the airport for €40, just 3 blocks from the main tram street and in 3 more blocks you reach the two main mosques. 2 blocks to the other side you arrive at the great bazaar. It has restaurants and two supermarkets two blocks away. The room is spacious, they gave us an upgrade because our room was under maintenance, they gave us a better, larger room with a view of the sea and a mosque. The wifi is super good. The bathroom clean. It has a minifridge, kettle and air conditioning. I lowered it one point only because you can hear everything in the hallway and also the noises from outside, it doesn't have very good noise insulation. The neighbors are very loud and shouty, but that is not the hotel's fault. Despite this, very good hotel and according to the price. The surrounding streets have many very steep ups and downs, but for us it was not a problem.
