I stayed here only for one night for an overnight transfer, not expecting much other than the hotel near the Blue Mosque, which I failed to visit the last time. It turned out to be that the stay here was the best memory I had in Istanbul - memorable with the help of wonderful Ali the Concierge. I will come back this year, Ali, no matter what! You opened up my mind and rekindled my passion for travel. But of course, I won't forget leaving the key with you next time I come back. Please excuse me for that...

Location tipica, confortevole posizionata sotto le mura della Moschea Blu. A pochi passi dall’ippodromo, Mosche Aya Sofia, il Parco Gülhane (nel territorio del parco c'è bar dove abbiamo bevuto il tè caldo ammirando le aiuole con i tulipani bacati dal sole). La struttura bella e accogliente. Letto confortevole con piumino matrimoniale stile nordico. Camera silenziosa. No ascensore ma la struttura arriva al massimo a due piani. Colazione turca, prevalentemente salata, possibilità di avere miele, marmellate e piccoli dolci. Personale cortese e disponibile. In particolare vorremmo ringraziare Rovshan impiegato della reception. Una persona squisita, non invadente, sempre molto cortese e preparatissimo per qualsiasi info sulla città, luoghi da visitare ecc.

The hotel is pretty close to the most famous mosques in Istanbul - Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and it is close the all the transport you will need to discover the city. The staff is perfect, my room was always clean and comfy when I got back from the tours, and Mr. 'Ali will make you feel at home. I have no words to describe my stay in this hotel, it was perfect and made my vacation trip unforgettable. I highly recommend this place.

La posizione è perfetta ma è l’unica nota positiva, la pulizia inesistente mai cambiate le lenzuola o pulito il bagno ( il personale si limitava a cambiare asciugamani e tirare su il piumone) L”albergo è vintage e ci sta un po’ di trascuratezza ma l’indolenza lavorativa no. La colazione? L’offerta era insalata di cavoli viola fagioli altri miscugli ed una torta che ci ha salvato, ma la signora addetta al servizio era scostante è perennemente seccata, la reception alcuni affabili altri neanche ti salutavano. Non c’è ascensore e le scale sono a chiocciola quindi se avete problemi fisici non fa per voi. Se tollerate scarsa pulizia e trasandatezze allora sceglietelo, altrimenti andate oltre.

My stay at hotel sultan hill was absolutely amazing. Great staff- especially Ali! I felt safe always, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was great, and the hotel services were made easy through the team. I would pay any price just to stay here again. Fabulous location. Unbelievable view of Blue Mosque from rooftop terrace. It is not a five-star hotel, so obviously not modernised and glamorous. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is such an incredible space, but a bit dirty and unkept. It would be easily upgraded with a few potplants and umbrellas :) The breakfast area was lovely with a little outside garden.

This is a very traditional Turkish house hotel perfectly located in Sultanahmet. All the main Istanbul sites are walking distance & it's a stones throw from the Blue Mosque. Wonderful view of it from the roof terrace. As I say, it's a very traditional style hotel so the stairway is quite steep & narrow, with no lift. But the super helpful team will help with bags. Only gave 4 stars because the room was quite small, although it was clean & serviced daily. But the rate we paid was very reasonable for the location, so its excellent value. Definitely recommended
