Just WOW!! My partner and I are currently at this hotel for her 40th birthday. I cannot describe the level service that we have received since we arrived 2 days ago. Everything has been more than perfect. The hotel itself is incredible and kept immaculate by the staff. The food is amazing and the all inclusive drinks are made with premium brands and mixed to perfection. The pool area is spotless and sun-beds are clean and well kept. If a relaxing holiday is what you’re after, this hotel offers everything. You don’t have to move from your sun-bed as you can order everything through their app which works seamlessly. There is nothing that the staff won’t do to make your stay enjoyable. The location is just right to give a memorable view of the sunset whilst enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony. There is so much more to say about this gem of a place which I’ll mention once our holiday is over. We’re off to Rhodes old town today which is only a short trip by bus. We will definitely be returning as much as we can in the future.

Still our worst holiday to date. We cannot understand how they are rated so highly in both hotel class and reviews by other visitors. The decor is dated, rooms basic and microwave standard meals. We brought a private pool room. Please note it is not private at all, anyone can walk alongside the hotel passing you in full view no fencing or gate, complete free access to your room and you are watched by all rooms above in full view. We went in May, the pools are said to be heated but were ice cold and could not be used for our entire stay. The hotel ignored our calls about this. The layout is confusing and exhausted my then pregnant wife as the ‘private’ pool rooms were 2 different lift journeys and 2 long corridors the length of the hotel away from the main entrance. We gave up halfway through our trip and sadly stayed in a lot, this was meant to be a relaxing spa like trip before baby. Far from. Anyway, the beds are hard and the typical two mattress pushed together dressed up as a double. Housekeeping after seeing my wife struggling to walk from such poor sleep advised us that mattress toppers are available which we quickly asked for once informed. Unsure why this isn’t listed anywhere as an option. The 3 restaurants onsite were overpriced, stale and tasteless. The play on asian cuisine in particular should be considered offensive it was terrible. Cheesy prawn wontons? The buffet breakfast staff were a level of rude I had never encountered, taking my plate up as I was putting the last soup full in my mouth, gave away our table when up for seconds and seemed to never come over to our table as others to offer drink or the usual ‘is everything okay?’. Moving on, we ordered room service a few times during our deep depression being at this place and it is again overpriced, frozen box food. To our shock after highlighting a few things to management, a dessert arrived with the hard plastic packaging from what I am assuming was the rim of the ice cream tub inside the bowl and ended up in my pregnant wife’s mouth. What a treat? The resolution was pretty much always thank you for your feedback and sorry. We were asked if we kept the plastic piece for the manager to inspect the morning after as this incident was at night… Yes of course we kept it as a souvenir. The hotel atmosphere is overall boring and more for senior citizens although branded otherwise, it is in a isolated location with nothing within walking distance, nearby beach is rated low and we now know why, restaurants near are just as poor but some family owned restaurants in the old town much further away in taxi were what standard we expected, delicious. I personally would not suggest anyone from a diverse background to go if you are the sociable type seeking interactions with others. You are mocked and treated as less than, forced to pay upfront for things in the fear we wouldn’t pay? Told on multiple occasions by strangers that they love black people for no apparent reason and forced to listen

Before I begin, I want to stress that we had visitum Atrium platinum during the summer on 5 of the past 6 years. The only time we did not visit was during the peak of Covid as no one could travel or it would have likely been 6 times in 6 years. Needless to say we had been loyal. That said in 2024 we will not return to Atirum. Why? During our stay in June 2023 our night flight was cancelled at around 11pm (the flight itself was due to be at 4am give or take). We were still in the hotel at this point as our transfer was due to pick us up at around midnight. The next available flight was at 12pm - a whole 8 hours after our initial flight. On stating this at reception, nothing was done to try and assist. The manager let the reception assistant know to tell us that if we wanted to a room for the night it would cost about 400 euros. Which for at that point would have been for 10 hours due to our newly booked flight. We felt this was obviously not worth it and our only options were to pay that amount for 10 hours or proceed to the airport at that time with our transfer and wait there overnight - as given we would have nowhere to sleep in the hotel seemed the better option as otherwise we would have to arrange other transport to the airport in the morning whilst tired. I dont feel that providing loyal customers who had frequented the hotel 5 times in 6 years with even the most basic of rooms for 10 hours as a gesture of goodwill given the horrible circumstances out of our hands would have been much to ask for given the brand states it is customer centric. I should mention we had already checked out around 11am that morning. We had to wait over 24 hours due to the flights cancellation. Due to that severe lack of empathy and understanding from managment for a circumstance which was not influenced by ourselves, we shall never return to Atrium again. It is a great shame as we had obviously enjoyed it so much, that we returned not once but 5 times. Most customers dont return to the same hotel twice. But obviously loyalty means nothing to Atrium management. I want to stress that most hotel staff however ar excellent and very friendly, especially in the breakfast and pool areas. I feel a 1 star review is unfair, but cannot give above a 2 based on this experience which prevents me ever returning again.

Everything was excellent; although this is not a walkable location. The only item missing at the hotel was a wash cloth.

The hotel staff was great! We got half board which was okay. Alcohol isn’t included but we thought we could eat at some of the hotels restaurants with this option. That is not the case. Only the main dining room can be used and only a discount is given at restaurants. They had theme nights with food options which again was okay. For example seafood night. In the event that you don’t like fish there were only a couple of things I could eat. Kind of limited and disappointing. We traded and got a lunch versus dinner one day and there were limited options. No hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, etc. just much of the same as dinner, really. It needs improvement. The room was beautiful but bath lighting was terrible. It was so dark my husband couldn’t see to shave well and putting on my makeup was terrible. There aren’t bathroom outlets so I went to the desk to get ready. My friends bathroom was better and it seemed that lights had been updated. The indoor pool was $12EU a day to use and considered part of the spa. There are several things we learned once we were there. Still a nice hotel but these things and signing things like the location of the elevators on floors was an opportunity.
